We spent a lovely time in this hotel. Was staying there at the end of Jan for 3 night. It was a great value for money. I dont think we were expecting such a nice please. We were greated so lovely with drink and cold face towel on our arrival. Check in process was very fast and in no time we were ready to go and relax in our room. And from the time when we crossed the entrence of this hotel we have been very well looked after. Chawing beach area is very comersialised which we didnt know, lots of turists, lots of people trying to sell you something. So our hotel was a lovely escape from its all. I have to say that they do care how are you, how you are gettng on. Big attention to details. Housekeeping service twice a day, at night leaving sweets with agood night message on your bed, so cute. What ever we wanted to do they have organised for us and that wasnt much more expensive that if you would do it yourself.
I felt that their advise as to where to go or what to do were very honest and where not sugested so they could benefit from it, as in some hotels in Thailand we have experienc that. I highly recomend this place for a lovely stay in Samui. It is lovely, quiet, very realaxing. I would like to say to the staffworking there "good job guys, you have made our stay". Thank you

little village in the heart of samui
comfty room, good service, great location, good privacy

We chose this hotel among many others and were not disappointed. It has around 40 rooms or so. Because of this the staff always had time to attend to our needs. The rooms are great, nice places to spend some time together with your loved one. Not many facilities - beach, small pool, small spa(quite expensive). But! Free parking for guests. If you want to do massage or smth do not do it at the hotel because you can do it next door for a lot less $. And! Book in advance. This place is very popular - when we stayed the hotel was fully booked.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
never go to any sightseeing in Samui, just stay at the beach. the tourist attractions are crappy.

GREAT SEJOUR
Small house. Vegetation. Restaurant. Attention to details. Staff. Beach.
9.3
Seriously nice place. It's amazing. The beach is cleaned every morning. No rock or algea...pure sand and water. Water is clear when there is no waves...but the sand mix in the water when there are waves. The place is super nice at night. They come to prepare the bed every night and leave a small gift. I rented a motorbike for 300 baht...more expensive but safer as you don;t need to give your passport. The restaurant is in the top10 of the best restaurant in Samui...good but expensive...you can ask for specials. I would go there again. The normal delux room is good enough. I looked and find that the room with garden or pool are useless. I would spend time int he garden or that dip pool anyways. The pool is small but nice. The hotel is expensive...
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
I would go to Koh Tao for the day...or more...really nice place.

Buri Rasa
Conveniently situated
Away from the chaos of the main beach
Private beach area
9.7
This was an exceptional place to stay. The service was incredible and the amenities were excellent. Most importantly, there was privacy and space and the chalets are not on top of each other. The pool and lounging facilities are extremely good. The hotel also has internet facilities and is located nearby all other amenities.
Restaurant Tip:
Ninja Crepes, opposite the hotel

Buri Rasa Review
Location - not in the middle of town, but easy walking distance
8.3
The Buri Rasa is well located - it feels quiet, but is an easy walking distance from the centre of town. There is a wide choice of restaurants nearby, with a mix of Thai, Indian, Italian and other options. The SITCA cooking school is also only a short walk away. The hotel feels genuinely Thai, not international chain, and the staff are friendly. Sure there are Mosquitos, but what do you expect in Thailand, by the sea!
Restaurant Tip:
The Ninja restaurenat opposite the front door looks basic, but is tasty, and it fills up every night.

Calm beauty in otherwise a terrible village
Beautiful, well maintained resort with a small but lovely beach. Wonderful service, attentive staff and a fabulous restaurant for an evening or two of very high quality food. Also, just opposite the hotel is a good local diner.
9.3
The hotel is beautiful, just as it looked in pictures, and its well maintained. The piece of land the hotel occupies is rather narrow, but they've definitely made the most of it and the place never felt crammed. The beach is small and there are people passing by, trying to sell you things, but it's a gorgeous strech and perfect for swimming as well. Also, it's queieter than some other parts of the same beach. Last but not least, the level of service was great and all the staff were extremely nice and helpful, even attentful. They come to the room each evening to prepare your bed and light a candle etc.
Chaweng itself we found terrible. Very touristy with restaurant menus in a number of European languages and people forcing to sell anything from tailoring to massage and food on the streets. However, the hotel provided the perfect escape from all this, and we enjoyed the relaxation before moving onto other, smaller islands around.

Buri Rasa
Really nice rooms, great eating area, and excellent location

When we were there the weather wasn't especially good but we were close enough to walk into the centre of town. Although not as nice as other islands, it is still good for a few days, and the hotel was an excellent choice.

Buri Rasa - relaxing resort right on Chaweng Beach
- modern
- beautiful bathrooms!
- friendly staff
- nice 4 poster bed
- centre of Chaweng Beach
- right on the beach
- quiet and 'village' feel
- interesting pool
- great buffet style breakfast
9.7
The Buri Rasa was beautiful to stay at as it had a wonderful atmosphere, and seemed to be very detached from the noise and bustle of the main Chaweng road. It was located right on the beach, with an awesome pool and nice restaurant. I liked it especially because it was small and cosy, while the rooms were clean and very well presented. As a honeymooner, my husband and I loved arriving to flower petals and towel swans on our 4 poster bed, as well as in the bathroom, and the massive bath and shower were a real plus (the shower had great pressure). We really enjoyed our stay there.
