Great room sevice/ house keeping

Way too many mosquitoes! I got more than 20 bites in 3 days!

Travel tip : Don't leave the water bucket in the restroom. That's where mosquitoes get together!

Convenient location & Relaxing environment.

Tiny car park & swimming pool

Buri Rasa is located at Chewang beach which is one of beautiful beaches in Koh Samui. Travellers can enjoy the beach just a few steps from Buri Rasa. You can really relax at the hotel with desirable services and pleasing thailandnese decoration. We had choosen a wonderful hotel and enjoyed our 3-night stay indeed.

Nightlife Tip : A delicious restaurant opens 24-hour that is opposite Buri Rasa. It is a fine choice for late-night snacking

I love the location of the place. The service was nice and the food was great.

During my stay was the construction site next door which made me upset because I love to spend late morning in bed. Hope they finished soon before next stay.

If you love not too big place which has everything you need, I'd recommend to come to Burirasa. Along the beach from there is connected to town but when you come back to the hotel, you will feel like different world.Peaceful and calm.

The Buri Rasa's location is spot on! Right on the best and cleanest part of the beach. The staff are welcoming, helpful and extremely friendly, remembering your name is a lovely touch.

Just a small thing, could have done with slightly larger hand towels in the bathrooms.

Staying at the Buri Rasa is a lovely experience. The staff are wonderful, the cooked breakfast is cooked fresh for you and they serve the best breakfast coffee I have ever tasted in a hotel! The location right on the beach couldn't be better. The rooms are lovely and very nicely decorated we had the dip pool but didn't use it as it was a wee bit cold, would probably choose the room with the spa bath instead next time. The gardens are also lovely, and I liked the un-hotel feel of the place. A highly recommended wonderful stay.

Travel tip : Taxi's are expensive compared to Bangkok. If you are there for a few days hire a car if you want to see the rest of the island.

Nice beach, food and drinks were excellent.

Mosquitoes, small rooms, construction beside hotel, receptionist unfriendly.

We checked into the hotel late in the evening and the room was smaller than expected. We awoke the next morning to the sound of construction workers just beside our room. I went to the front office and requested another room and the receptionist was initially accommodating and said we could move at noon but that she also needed my room by 12 which i agreed. When we returned at 12 this same receptionist told me that we could not move until 2pm. When i asked why, she said in an unfriendly and slightly angry voice that she had previously told me 2pm and to go ask my wife who was also with me initially. Both my wife and I had heard 12 noon as the time when the room was available, but i did not argue. When we returned at 2pm to get the key she told me it was already in the room. I went to the room and found the key was not for our room but another room. I again returned to inform them that i had the wrong key, and was accused of taking a key from an adjacent room. It was this point that i was convinced i would never return nor recommend this hotel to anyone. The rest of the staff were very friendly and accommodating, but this one person ruined my opinion of the hotel.

Really can't see the good points about this hotel except you can get local cheaper food just across the street.

Construction beside create noises. Room not as cozy as we expected, and lots of mosquitoes.

Not a good resort to be recommended. Receptionist not warm enough. When tried to ask for late check out, which normally is able to extend to 2pm, but the said receptionist rather than say yes or no, start telling how much they will charged by extending to 2pm, 4pm etc. Too much eyes watching on what you do, unlike in many other hotel. Spa only has two people providing services and hence long waiting time and long booking needed.

Nightlife Tip : Plenty to walk and see right outside the hotel.

location, nice room decoration, delicious breakfast

no bathtab in room

The location of the hotel is excellent. It is located in the middle of the cheweng beach. It makes u easy to find a dining place or shop around whenever you like. The decoration of the room is antique & romantic. Good for couples. But the swimming pool is too small for the adult. By the way, the staff are polite but a bit lack of proactive to help. We went for snokeling at the day we move to another hotel & request for late check out to pick up our luggages after snokeling. This was refused by the front desk. According to the front desk, our room will be occupy by somebody else but we do see the room occupation rate is not high during our period of stay due to low season in oct. They should be able to allow the late check out therefore we can take a quick shower before we moved out. This is a bit inconvenience for us to grab a cab with wet body after the snokeling activity.

Hotel Feature Tip : The double size bed is really comfortable. We had very good sleep each night. It is even more better than the one in home

Very good location, nice part of chaweng beach. 2 storey buildings in a mini tropical forest. Very personal touch, nice staff, good service.

Huge building site next door is very noisy. Starts at 8am. Vyer small pool.

Very nice, small family/boutique hotel. The building site next door is very annoying and can be heard in the whole hotel area.

Buri Rasi is in a great location, the beach is nice & clean here & great for a swim. The staff are always friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. Free Internet & great Spa treatments.

The Con we had was that we had to leave this place.

This was our 2nd time to Koh Samui & I am so glad we picked Buri Rasa, staying at this resort made our holiday very relaxing & memorable, we had no problems with anything, service was perfect, staff were unbelievable, the rooms are very clean & modern. Great for couples, we will be back for sure....

Restaurant Tip : You can find cheap, great Thai food straight across the road & Ninja Crepes.

great location on middle of Chaweng beach, beautiful rooms and great service, hotel is not too big, breakfast made to order, pool looks out on to beach.

food was very expensive, building of hotel next door was very noisy and we could not use our balcony because of the building.

We liked the tropical style of the Buri Rasa and booked the hotel because of the central location in Chaweng. The rooms are beautiful and the pool is located on the beach. Would have loved to stay in a room with its own small pool - they looked fantastic. The staff were very friendly and there are 2 computers with free internet. The food at the restaurant was quite expensive and was very average. There is a great restaurant opposite the Buri Rasa called 'Ninja' which cooks beautiful traditional Thai food.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : definitely spend a day snorkeling around Koh Tao, hire a motorbike and explore Koh Samui, take a 4WD tour into the mountains, eat at the Ninja restaurant opposite hotel, the Cliff restaurant.

Lots of trees and flowers with you! The beautiful smile of all the staffs! Absolutely gorgeous breakfast with wild honey!

The rooms are little bit dark than other resorts.

You can feel like in a forest while you're staying there. The small alleys in the resort and the lawn grass around the pool make you calm and relax. Every morning, you can have nice breakfast with fresh egg and toast and wild honey. If you wanna feel real Thai resort, come and enjoy!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : I really really recommend Mr. Ung's Jungle Safari. They are really kind and warm-hearted.

Hotel is at the quieter end of the Chaweng stretch.

At present this hotel is adjacent to a construction site and is thus disturbed by the noise from very early in the morning.

Beautiful hotel at quieter end of Chaweng. Not a large hotel so has far fewer guests than others in Chaweng - this is a definite bonus. Swimming pool is a good size and never full. Well spaced sunloungers around pool and on beach. Breakfast is excellent, wonderful range of fresh foods and drinks. Rooms clean and well decorated - good bathrooms. Turndown service each evening. Rooms laid out within landscaped gardens.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you wish to take a tour of the island's attractions hire a car and driver from nearby restaurant (Wave Samui). Costs 1400 baht for 4hrs for the car and driver, including fuel. You can then plan your own schedule.

If you go to Koh Samui, you can't miss the Full Moon Party at Koh Phangan (once a month every full moon only). The hotel is good overall, but if you are a party animal, I don't recomend it to you. If you are on a honeymoon, or looking for a relaxed vacation, then it is okay. Not good for solos.

Nightlife Tip : Solo Bar, Mango's discotheque.
