Extremely beautiful swimming pool, choice of 2 pools, swim up bar with great cocktail list! Clean rooms, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Beautiful gardens and right on the beach. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Huge range of hotel guests, families, couples, singles. Me a friend had a girls holiday, perfect place to stay. Security 24hours a day. Meals in the hotel although lovely can be expensive. So many resturants right outside hotel almost 50% cheaper. Happy outside the hotel is a bargin too! Had a really nice time in Koh samui. The centara is a beautiful hotel, right on the beach. The swimming pool was amazing, the swim up bar has a huge cocktail list. Breakfast is huge! So many choices and you can sit in side or outside. The tour desk has so many great tours avaiable, we did a private tour of the island which is perfect if there are only certain things you want to see, it was extremely cheap too. Hotel staff are really friendly nothing was too much trouble. 24 hour security, not that its probably needed but nice to know its there. Hotel in good location for shopping and eating out and so many relaxed bars around for happy hour! My friend and I are in our late 20's and loved it! Perfect girls holiday. Huge rande of hotel guests, families, singles, honeymooners good variety of people. Overall was a great stay, just eat out as you'll save alot, and the resturants outside (literally across the road) are full of life and an "authentic" thai experience. Would stay here again!
Nightlife Tip : Outside the hotel and to the right, about a one minute walk the bar called "the Loft" is really nice for just sitting back and relaxing after a day of tanning and swimming!!

Friendly, attentive staff. Elegant design. Clean and comfortable. Excellent restaurants. This is truly a first-class resort. Impeccable service, luxuriously designed rooms, excellent restaurants, extremely attentive staff. For the cost, which was quite reasonable, it really cannot be beat. And the location is perfect -- right at the center of it all (if that's what you want) on glorious, pristine white Chaweng Beach.

Nice setting and grounds, close to airport Poor pools, crowded and cramped pool side area, too many "package holiday" guests.
The street outside the hotel is dire, best avoided. The Hotel has a nice overall feel set in shaded grounds. The cosy small first floor bar and beach side restaurant have a nice feel and reasonable menu.
During the day the pool side is cramed and crowded but fortunately most of these guests seemed to leave the hotel in the evenings which made the stay much more pleasant.
There are a few nice restuarants to visit by taxi, we had a very nice dinner at The Cliff.
Avoid the places within walking distance on the very downmarket "strip" outside.

Old and Stale Accommodation Very old hotel. Bathroom was old. Bath/Shower was old. Shower curtain was cheap. Air conditioner was too old that made my room wet. Bed sheet was wet and not white enough. A receptionist was snobbish.

The lobby restaurants are good. The acces to he first floor, lifts are very far from the rooms I like this hotel,is new, the lobby is beautiful. The hotel is close to the terminals airport, the shuttle service is every 30 minutes and is good.at the hotel the room service is good as well, the room and bathroom are very clean and the restaurants at the lobby are pleasant with a reasonable prices and good food. i find very hard to communicate whith the reception, they cannot speak english properly and when we enter the hotel they leave us more than 30 minutes to prepare a room for us. but the hotel condition its so nice and location also and the beach of the private hotel its very clean its one of the best hotels i have been. and there is a very nice Italian restaurant in the hotel and inside your room there is a balcony, its beside the beach when you sit, fresh air comes.

central but still very calm, elegant expensive shuttle to airport... Located in the Chewang strip, the hotel is very calm and relexing although it is located at the main bustling street of Chewang beach.
It is lovely decorated, all the rooms overview the garden and the ocean. Swimming pools are very cool, close to the beach with a bar inside the water so you can eat and drink between one swim to another.
The beach is wide and quite.
Food is good and not so expensive compared to the restaurants outside the hotel.
Rooms are very nice, with nice balcony.
It is an excellent value for money.
Our impression was that the average age of the guests was relatively high, probably due to the higher price of the room compared to other resorts in Samui.
Nightlife Tip : Few interesting local cabarets on walking distance from the hotel.

The location is good. Both the beach and the town are near the hotel. Sometimes we couldn't trust what the staff said. Our reservation of diving was canceled by mistake, and we couldn't go diving. Although the diving shop is in the hotel, the hotel staff didn't know why our reservation was canceled and they couldn't even contact the diving staff. It was a waste of time. However the hotel staffs were totally kind, and the location is also good. We enjoyed windsurfing, jet-skiing and shopping.

Nice pool, great day spa, sailing boats and other water activites, nice lush gardens, nice rooms None that particularly come to mind. We had a great stay here and I would definitely go back again. The extensive grounds are lovely and lush, the pools wonderful and the water sports (sailing etc) fantastic. They also have a nice gym overlooking the gardens. The room was very nice as well and they have a great buffet breakfast. We also had a great experience at the day spa and were treated like royalty!
Hotel Feature Tip : There is a special club which provides you with a lovely free morning tea and afternoon tea. On top of the included breakfast in the mornings, this really filled us up!

This is, we've泊MARA to PURUSUITO, a nice pool, room service can make a night, we have a leisurely dinner on the terrace with a pool room. The garden is very beautiful.
Travel tip : CHAUEN the city was in front of the hotel.
