a nice getaway
comfortable, clean, friendly staff

It's not in a great location (far away from everything), but if you are looking to have a nice, quiet getaway this is a good place.

Absolutely Fantastic!
Everything, but for some the location might not be the best

I got married at this hotel and enjoyed every minute of my stay here. The room was great, the staff were really friendly and helpful, the food was good, and the pool and beach were great. I booked this hotel because it was a little secluded and further away from the main areas on he island such as Chaweng and Lamai, as I wanted a more private and relaxing experience. Shuttle transport is offered by the hotel at set times every day to visit the other places, but if you are staying at the hotel then you are restricted to eating at the hotel, where prices are a little more expensive, or one of two other restaurants a 200m walk away, which are slightly cheaper. However, I enjyed the food and they would offer various themed nights such as seafood night or BBQ night, so that you don't get bored of the menu. I'm looking forward to returning to the hotel on one of y anniversaries in the next few years.

quiet place nested in nature, but kind of boring
3 pools, nested in nature

If you are looking for a quiet place to rest Centara villa is probably the place you need. You are far away from everything, but nothing is really made to keep you there: Wifi very expensive, food overpriced, no activities. Certain rooms really need renovation (I was given a spa villa N°322, the Spa was old, broken, and room decoration old fashion). After long discussion the hotel agreed to give me another room the day after: Better location(pool and sea view), newer Spa. Too bad the water turned orange after each use (rust form the tap).
I would suggest the hotel to invest into some room renovation and english lessons for the employees.
The beach is small, and the water is full of rocks
Restaurant Tip:
try the 2 restaurants nearby along the road

It was an amazing place with a beautiful view, private beach with breakfast/dinning beside, tasty food and a very friendly service.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Rent a bike and roam around as taxi is expensive

A lot of ups and downs
Nice pool and beach setting
6.7
A lot of pro's and con's to Centara Villas.
PRO's: Staff are nice and friendly, pool area and restaraunt setting are lovely, and the rooms are nice and clean, good gym and facilities. Food is pretty good, and ok priced for a resort.
CON's: Location not great (you need a car or scooter as nothing nearby and can't walk on the roads), a LOT of stairs! You will genuinelly need to be in good fitness to stay here! No Wifi in rooms was more of a pain than we thought it would be, very difficult to get on the 2 PCs in the lobby. The gym is good but shuts at 5:30pm. The term "dvd library" is a bit of a stretch!
Overall a mixed bag, lots of ups and downs (excuse the pun, considering there are stairs to go up and down at this resort)

very impressed by facility and the location.we enjoy this hotel with the modern design and we has private pool in our room. our kid enjoy swimming here. the service was great also.we booked for ocean view.unfortunately there was too many trees so that we hardly see the ocean view so that they offerd me the gift voucher instead. anyways, i think this hotel was worth your money.

Amazing ambience and exemplary service :)
Friendly staff, clear blue sea, good food...

Right from the start, we were greeted by courteous and friendly staff who endeavored to make our entire stay in the resort one to remember for a lifetime.
It is the perfect resort for the honeymooners. We chose to stay in a private spa villa and it was awesome! Me and my wife enjoyed ourselves very much.
Although away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the resort offers shuttle to Chaweng & Lamai. But why bother when you can chill by the private beach? :)
