Great location, fantastic service, friendly staff, clean, beautiful grounds

None spring to mind

This hotel was great. Our bungalow was a stones throw from the beach, opposite the pool. The service was excellent - the staff were really friendly and helpful, food was great (although the coffee at breakfast was pretty ordinary). All in all we were really well looked after and if we were to return to Koh Samui, we'd definitely stay at Chaweng Buri again!

Travel tip : Walk along the beach, rather than the road - it's much cleaner, less crowded and less smelly. Also, don't go for the 'special price' massage offered by the Buri spa - choose the beachside massage, as its much better value.

Rooms dirty & it took 4 days to get our toilet fixed, wanted to checkout after 3 days.

We loved the Island, but the Resort was a major let down, from the rooms to the staff to the dirty pool. The internet cannot bo used from your room, you must go to the main office. Our toilet would not flush & it took 4 days & many trips to the office to get it to work. Would not recommend this resort to anyone, there are much better resorts than this on the Island. Fantastic Island great people, but a very bad resort.

nice bungalows , friendly staff, greenery, close to beach beach beds, swimming pool, breakfast, beds, facilities, location

bathrooms a little on the oldish side but still not a major con

I really liked this hotel. it has a very relaxed atmosphere and you can really relax. great value for money. staff were friendly and when they couldnt offer a late check out they offered a room and shower for us to use to get changed in just before we had to catch our flight. it was easy. we booked our jeep right at the hotel and the guy came and picked it up aswell. the hotel location is ideal not too noisy not too quiet. you are in the middle so can choose which way to go. i liked coyote bar which was near and had some good bands playing. breakfast was awesome and you could look out over the beach and pool. NIcE!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : hire a jeep to see the elephants and the waterfalls, cheaper than a taxi and more comfortable than a scooter!
