I stayed 5 nights in the hotel which was long enough to experience the hotel
positive points : nice rooms, very good breakfast, staff very helpful, good location.
The hotel really has a top location beach right in front of it. A few steps from the hotel there is a nice area with some restaurants and bars where you can spend some time if you do not want to stay in the hotel.

cannot in all honesty reccommend this resort .the cleaning of rooms was very hit and miss had to ask nearly everyday for the complimentary bottles of drinking water and sorry to say the staff attitude was one that would not be usually expected from a Thai hotel , and lastly there were dogs everywhere even in the restaurant , notice stating that dogs are not allowed did not know dogs could read !!!

Not a good experince
The fact the hotel is on the nice beach and right in town.

This was the first time my wife and I stayed in this hotel. The pictures we saw on the web looked a lot better than the rooms. The rooms were very out dated. It seems like they have never touched these rooms since this hotel was built. Front desk staffs were not very friendly at all. I liked the location of the hotel.
Would not stay there again.

The first hotel at Chaweng beach . The hotel location at center of chaweng beach and shopping area, restaurant, beach front . You can find everything near hotel and hotel not far from airport just 20 min .The room was good. we stayed at Bangalow . Staff friendly and good service.

Be aware when you first check in of the 'we are overbooked tonight so need to put you in another room until tomorrow' line by the front desk staff. I was 'lucky' enough to stay in a room near the staff accommodation. My friends got stuck with the converted massage room with padlock on the outside. We were given compensation - massages, free dinner - for our trouble but had to beg.
Restaurant Tip:
Look out for 'The Library' Restaurant just south of the resort - fantastic food, location, atmosphere and stunning architecture!
