The rooms are beautiful, huge, spacious, bright and airy, the kitchen was a real bonus for us, as we've been travelling a long time and it felt a lot more like a home away from home with the brand new modern kitchen and large fridge. The bed was very comfortable, the room always bright, and the staff are extremely friendly, helpful and always listen to their guests. We didn't have a kettle the first night and boiled water in a pot for coffee, we didn't mention it to the staff, as it was not a problem, but the next day without us even asking, they bought a kettle for our room, extremely considerate! Also when we arrived the gym was being set up, all with brand new equipment, we asked if any more equipment would be put in and within a few hours of us asking they had brand new threadmills and steppers in place and fully functioning, we were extremely impressived. The pool was beautiful and best of all for us, the gym and pool are always open so you don't have to waste precious sunshine hours in the gym, and midnight swims under the stars are very pleasant! The view even from the standard room is beautiful, with huge balconies to enjoy it! And the main Chaweng strip is only minutes away on a small scooter which can be hired easily for about 150 baht per day, it's very near Tescos, a few 7-11s and the cinema, but still has a beautiful peaceful lakeside location, so you can relax and still be in the heart of it, we loved it so much we stayed 2 weeks instead of the originally booked 1!
Honestly, I can't think of any cons, but seen as though Agoda are insisting I put some in, the only thing I will say is the room is very bright, so if your a light sleeper you may be awake early in the morning, but Samui is beautiful with plenty to see, so you'll probably be grateful for the early start!
