Located in Koh Samui�s more peaceful northern peninsula, Choengmon Beach Hotel combines modern comfort with laid back beach living. The hotel is a few minutes� drive from Big Buddha and the popular nightlife of Chaweang beach. All rooms have a private balcony or terrace, are stylishly decorated with Thai accents and are comfortable furnished with amenities such as Satellites TVs and internet access. There are two restaurants, which between them serve a range of Thai and international food. Other facilities include two pools, gym, games room and spa and there are numerous water sports available on the beach.

Nice pool. lots of nice beachside restaurants and bars. free wi-fi
Cheaper rooms are across a carpark from the main hotel - but for a cheap price this is not a huge problem.
We stayed for 4 nights at this hotel. Unfortunately there was bad weather while we were there so we were unable to use the pool or the beach. There was a nice massage place attached to the hotel, lots of nice restaurants nearby. Free Wi-fi in room! Nice clean and spacious room. I would stay here again but I would come back when the weather is better.
Travel tip : Peak kitchen across the road is an excellent restaurant, and also Orcid (both cheap but yummy food)

Choengmon beach is very nice and relaxed.
Good clean hotel.
Friendly staff.
Was happy with this hotel. On a very nice beach and not too far away from Chaweng beach either.
There was a gym at the hotel which my partner used. Pool looked nice although I did not use.
Had breakfast here too which was fine.

Good price, good position - nice waterfront, free wifi, good gym.
Pool was "green" while we were there - you couldn't swim in it.
No beach shower- essential when there are bities in the sea water
Breakfast was terrible, we pre paid for it but didn't use it. No one was there, so others must have the same opinion.
If the pool filter had been working it would have been OK, it wasn't pleasant swimming in the sea because of the tiny stingers.
The rooms are clean and roomy but basic, however they are very good value for the price. The TV channels are good and there is a fridge & air con.
The cheaper rooms are at the back of the block next door and the surrounds are not flash so if you want something a bit more upmarket, go for the poolside rooms.
Restaurant Tip : Don't bother getting the breakfast, go to the restaurant on the beach instead or to any of the other beachfront restaurants.
