Overall is clean, it is quite new though. Location is quite okay for me although it's far from busy area like Chaweng.

Very small room and small shower room and small closet and everything inside the room is small. 3-story-building with no elevator.

I can't complain that the hotel is inconvenient. It is located right on the main road. There is a convenience store right opposite to the hotel and several eating places not so far away. These however cannot be compared with numerous choices of shops around Chaweng or Lamai. The hotel is clean and neat just like any standard chain hotels on this planet. This has made the place a bit lack of tropical island atmosphere.

Travel tip : There is nothing so called attractions within walking distance. Not a lot of amenities provided. No Q-tips/Cotton buds provided in room, so bring your own in case your are addicted to.

Hotel is new !

Stay in Delux room but a bit small

The hotel Ibis is new so everywhere is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpfull.The hotel is situated on the north side of the Island which is only a short taxi ride from the nightlife,however theres a quaint fishing village not far where theres plenty of excellent restaraunts and bars right along the beach.

Restaurant Tip : Fishermans village has good selection of very nice dining and bars

after using Ibis Hotel's for more than 30 years this is the first time a fridge and tea/coffee facilities have been included, and were not mentioned in the write up.

the car park security guards would have made excellent S.S. Officers. The Wi-Fi is not free and costs 100 bt/hr

Hotel is very clean and bright and extends directly onto the beach. The staff were excellent and very friendly.

Travel tip : with transport everything on the island is very easily reached
