Beach front location, oustide pool area, beach front dinning, good breakfast. Rooms very dated and need refurbishing. No view from the window, road noise, bathroom very dark and badly designed using the shower results in getting water everywhere. Decided to stay at the hotel as it looked so nice from the beach with sun loungers laid out for hotel residents and the pool faced the sea. We had eaten here previously and had a great meal on the beach. When we checked in we were shown to the room carrying our own bags, what a disappointment the room was dark and needed redecorating and modernising. The room was small in comparison to other hotels in Thailand. There wasn't even a proper bed just a huge matress on a raised wooden area. The only view was opposite to other rooms and overlooking some shops. The pool towels are tiny, discoloured with holes. Would stay elsewhere for a better room. I got the impression the hotel could not be bothered to maintain any standards as they new they would have visitors due to the beach front location.

Hotel is located just the beginning of Chaweng one way road. You will be away from the busy area but reachable. It is just behind Plaza area. Has really nice swimming pool and staff were very friendly. They have low bed level, its okay for a night or 2 but not if you stay longer than that. Big room and very clean.

Iyara is well located on the edge of the main Chaweng strip so is convenient but not in the thick of things. The rooms are stylish and comfortable and the service in the hotel and restaurant is excellent. Main difficulties were the shower - hard to maintain consistent water temperature and the pressure could be a bit variable. The shower/tub design also guaranteed a wet floor! This is a well-located, convenient place to stay in Chaweng. While not as landscaped as some other properties, the pool area is pleasant. Service was excellent and felt very familiar given the relatively small size of the resort. We were delighted to be given the use of a room at nominal charge on our last day to clean-up after a day-trip, before an evening flight.

This is a very well located hotel, right at the beach. Extremly helpful, friendly and trendy stuff.
Bigg rooms. Maybe some of the rooms would need a fresh up, but still good value for the money. This hotel is situated in a quiet area right at the beach. Still within walking distance to all the night life. The managemennt is very friendly and helpful something that is transmitted to all the stuff. Which is extremly helpul, always smiling and do their very best to satisfy the customers.
Excellent breakfast, very good food in the restaurant. In nighttime you can have your dinner right at the beach. Nice rooms, clean and big. Some need some brush up though. But good value for the money.
Restaurant Tip : Try Rest. Red Snapper or Rest. Rice both within walking distance 5-10 minutes

Strategic location, good service, cost is expensive compared to other parts of thailand As it is located along Chaweng Beach, the location is quite strategic especially for first time traveler, it is near nightlife and have easy access. Breakfast is moderate, staff are kind and pleasant yet occasionally hard to contact them. Although the rates are bit off compared to other places in thailand, yet Iyara provide just what we need.

Nice, on the beach, good service, close to city center and nightlife. Towel and blankets not so clean We were there four nights, it's a nice hotel with private beach the rooms were clean but they could improve the floor cleaning. Staff very efficient and helpful. Very goog breakfast. We requested car rental at front desk and the car was there in 30 min. Dinner time on the beach should be set later, because at 3:00 pm they start to use the beach for this purpose.
Restaurant Tip : There are many restaurants options all around for all budgets.

The Hotel had a very central spot at chaweng beach Needs to be renovated and painted. We found Iyara resort to be a nice hotel on a perfect place.
The rooms where a little bit "old", but there was some renovation goilng on right now when we were there.
he Hotel needs to get more sunbeds on the beach and by the pool.
The airport transport should be free when you stay 6 days, as it is 10-15 minutes from the hotel. Also Internet should be free in my opinion.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take a tour to Koh Tao and the other Island, Can´t remeber the name but it was in the same trip.

This is a small diamond among all hotels at Chaweng Beach and fairly cheap rates. The have a problem with the outflow/ plumbing in the main building, so try to stay in one of the wings. But not to close to the main road if you like to sleep when it is quiet. This is a small diamond among all hotels at Chaweng Beach and fairly cheap rates. Very nice rooms, clean an tidy. Very good breakfast. Extremely nice and helpful staff that always give you a smile. And a manager that see to that everything is perfect during your stay. Very nice to dine right on the beach in the evenings.
Nightlife Tip : Don't forget to have a drink at Solo very close to the hotel.

The hotel is directly on the beach and the staff are very friendly. Happy hour is available in the afternoon and cocktails are 100 baht. I thought this hotel was brilliant. The rooms were nice, it was only a 5 minute walk to the main area and is directly on the beach. The staff are very friendly and cannot do enough for you. I would definitely go to this hotel again.

Friendly hotel staff and convenient location. This hotel is located in the Chaweng beach which is very convenient to shopping and nice eating places. The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is opened til 10.00 am., which is normally extended to 10.15 am. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel provides the room for take a bath even we already checked out.

Day staff are super helpful and friendly. The hotel is located close to everything and is easily reached. Rooms are clean and well-designed. Night staff are a bit ignorant and not so friendly. Buffets are overpriced. My friend and I stayed at Iyara for two nights. We decided to check-in to a bigger room by the pool because it was nice. The day staff were very helpful and they did a good job in making sure that our stay was okay. We would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You can book a day trip to Angtong National Marine Park at the front desk. It is cheaper than to book outside the hotel.
