Spacious, clean and luxurious rooms. Right on the beach - in a quieter excellent location. Breakfast was beautiful. Service was great. Free shuttles into town.
Lack of restaurant variety, but the food available was very good.
Great value for money. It is situated in a great location - close enough to everything but it's position on the beach is also not as loud and you don't get hassled as much by sellers. The rooms were very spacious. Breakfast was brilliant. Staff was very helpful and friendly and would try to do anything to make your stay more comfortable.
Shopping Tip : If you want a suit/dress/shirt/coat/tie, take a very short 3 mins walk down the road to Oscar fashion. He is friendly, well priced and most importantly reliable. His fittings were excellent and unlike many other tailors he did not charge extras for certain add ons or adjustments.

Big rooms, huge bathrooms, many resturant, beachfront.
Housekeeping services must be improved. No one refilled our amenities for 3 days. Quite a few bhudda altars around the hotels. Made us uncomfortable.
There is a nice beach in front of the hotel.Water is very shallow but at least we can swim and the beach is better than the rocky beach with strong waves in Lamai. Food in the various restaurants in the hotel are good. pricier than Lamai tho. We wished the hotel did not have their various bhuddist altars right in the middle of the hotel entrance. Made us very uncomfortable. I think we'd choose another hotel next time. A hotel that is more neutral without any scary statues. We stayed at the Kala before moving to Kandaburi. That hotel is a nice boutique hotel without any scary statues. Oh, we ordered a king size bed but they gave us a bed with 2 twin beds joined together. I wonder if they have a king size bed in that hotel.

Great Service with lovely hotel, pool and private beach.
Hard to think of but would like to mention the bathroom for Premire Room. It was right at the entrance. So basically, when you open the door, you will see lovely big bathroom then next door is your bedroom. Make sure you lock it every time you get in otherwise their staff might come in while you are doing your business. They sometimes want set your bed ready for your sleep.
The service is very nice, I would give it 10/10. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked Deluxe and got upgrade to Premier Room. The room was very big with DVD player. You can get movie from the market and watch it in your room. It is located in the North of Chaweng, can walk to Central for 5 mins. Hotel has free shuttle bus 3 times a day, only from Hotel to Central. Or you can walk along the beach, it will take about the same. There are many beach restaurants with fire show. The drinks were a little expensive but try to go there on Happy Hour, which is normally last until 9 PM. You can get good deal for THB 100 cocktail or THB 50 local beer. Hotel also provides a very good break as well. This is suitable for all travelers.

Amazing hotel. Seemed quite new. Loved the pools and the deluxe rooms. The weather during November is definitely not the best (it has rained everyday). Breakfast has everything under the sun from waffles and pancakes to fried noodles. It does take a long time to walk to town but taxi is only 100 baht. Its also good to be at the end of Chaweng as its quieter.
Shopping Tip : Go see John at "Famous Armani Suits" down the other end of Chaweng opposite Chwaeng resort. We had a good shop around for suits and this guy was the cheapest and the nicest guy in town.

great beach area and beautiful sunset.
overpriced in hotel restaurants.
We have just arrived back from our Honeymoon in Thailand having spent 12 nights at the Kandiburi resort and Spa. Our arrival in Samui followed a 3 night stay in a 4/5* hotel in Bangkok so I guess we were a little disappointed with the rather informal approach we experienced here.
The resort is tropically lush with a lovely pool and beautiful sea front location. We were greeted with flowers a cool towel and cold drink which was gratefully received and were shown to our premier suite which had been decorated with flowers for us as honeymooners.

Huge rooms, close to town.
One receptionist was rude and argumentative.
Fantastic hotel, beautiful setting, very close to town. Although one of the receptionists really didn't understand customer services which tainted our experience somewhat.

Very nice room with good interior decoration. The room is very spacious, clean and tidy. I am very impressed especially with the bathroom, excellent interior decoration, spacious and stylish. Also, the resort services are good from housekeeping to front desk. The resort also has a nice swimming pool with good landscaping.
The resort with hillside rooms are separated from the ocean view rooms by a public road, and the road is not in good condition, very muddy due to construction work at nearby locations. The restaurants at the resort are kind of expensive.
Overall this is a good resort to stay, people are friendly, helpful and services are fine. Location is very close-by to airport and Chaweng town. Resort does provide free shuttle service to Chaweng but charges a small fare of BHT100 for the return trip. Perhaps, the resort should consider providing free return shuttle service and at more frequent hours too.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Other than the beach & town, should consider trying out the “flying fox”, ie. zipping through the jungle from tree to tree with attached safety cable. It is absolutely fun. This can be arranged at the resort easily at anytime provided the weather is fine.

Room (hillside)was big and very nice with a very large bathroom
value for money
centre was a good bit away
Staf was very helpfull. We had lunch the first day in the beach side restaurant and food was realy bad (even fish and chips was not eatable), maybe we had a one of, as we didn't give any of the hotel restaunts a second chance. As we were there in a rainy period we didn't have the chance to enjoy the pool or beach area, but they looked ok. Centre was a good walk away so taxi is advisable (3 times a day free bus to centre).

- away from the chaweng chaos\n- very nice rooms and facilities\n-
- bad fitness room\n- quite expensive place\n- beach is too small for the hotel size
We arrived in the hotel and it was very nice. we had a nice welcome drink, everybody was very friendly and the stylish rooms with its nice bathrooms were amazing. we were impressed. restaurants and bars of the hotel are quite expensive, but worth it. Transport to airport is way too expensive (if not included in the package) but anyway, we had a very nice stay (but very bad weather)
Restaurant Tip : go to the beach hotel, they have quite a good choice to a good price

clean nice rooms with excellent views.
some rooms are located far from the reception.
staying in the hotel was really nice, i spent seven days and did not face any issue with them, the staff is well trained, nice and clean beach, two swimming pools. it is located at the end of Chaweng main center away from the busy streets which was nice and relaxing, you might consider renting a bike though... i guess i will use that hotel every time i visit Koh Samui.
