Fantastic hotel, great location, fantastic service
Location in Chaweng, location along the beach, the cleanliness of the rooms

i stayed a couple of nights at kirikayan boutique resort, and i must say that i'm glad i splurged the money on such a nice place. for one, chaweng is a pretty touristy area, and it is indeed nice to have the hotel located at the southern end of central chaweng, with a less crowded strip of sand to enjoy.
the rooms are tastefully decorated, toilet is clean, new, and spacious. love the hollywood style bed - it's huge. it's about the size of two queen size beds!
the service is undoubtedly thai. never overbearing, just the right amount of attention and hospitality.
will definitely stay here again if i do come back to koh samui
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Rent a motorbike to see the island. Traffic's reasonably light and drivers are far more courteous compared to where I come from.

Great location, lovely helpful staff and .....

In a great location in the South of Chaweng - great beach and not too far from the lively centre. The pool is quite small but lovely and you can see the beach/sea - and you qcan order iced cold drinks while in the pool. Staff always smiling and genuinely seem happy - and always asking if you are okay. I stayed in a suite which was stunning - though from a practical viewpoint didn't have any wardrobes/ qhanging space which would be an issue for some. breakfast okay - as most hotels of a certain quality in Thailand greT flat screen TV but limited channels eg no BBC world service. When heavybrain it made quite a noise on the roof and woke me up - and although notnthe busiest area you could hear noise from nearby bars at night Overal very good

Good and charming small hotel on the beach
small, cosy, on the beach

Very nice hotel, cosy rooms well decorated in Thai style. Small size which is a real plus. Hotel in almost on the beach and the pool area is the perfect place to chill or enjoy a massage given by hotel staff. I will definitly recommand this hotel for solo travelers of for couples. Food in breakfast bufet was average. Lovely staff always ready to help.

Nice place but...
food not worth paying.. especially the poolside menu.
Breakfast (included) quality leaves much to be desired...
Room is nice, but the blinds that supposedly provide privacy had gaps and at certain angles, no more privacy...
The room did not have enough power sockets to charge the phone/laptops, camera's at the same time...

The 2 room with the Jacuzzi faces the beach.... :)

the kirikayan boutique resort is at the quieter end of chaweng beach. there is still plenty of shops in walking distance. the room was a great size, liked the bathroom nice for space and decoration. having the plasma tv was a bonus including being able to borrow dvds to watch was fantastic if the weather was no so great. food at the restaurant was also good.

Staff alweays greeted the room was looked good but not very practical, bathroom very dark, lovely comfortasble bed but to use the bathroom you needed to head down stairs.
Restaurant Tip:
Eat sense on the beachfront very reasonable and different.

The hotel was very beautiful and the beach was amazing although it is located in Chaweng. It is located in the south of Chaweng so we usually had to use tuktuk to go to a nice restaurants. The drain didn't work so well and it was under construction. Other than that everything was nice.

The hotel was in beautiful surroundings, a lot of trees, peaceful atmosphere. Friendly staff always with smile. Rooms are pretty and stylish. Inappropriate price to the quality of food. Good service.
Massage was good. We appreciate the free wifi in the rooms and reception. Service on the beach was good, but the price was overvaluated.

Peacefull and lovely hotel
Swiming pool near the beach, with sea view and massages in the swiming pool area

The staff was friendly although they didn't speak english as the standard for Thailand. We had some misunderstandings, namely with the booking of a diving trip, but the staff was nice and the problems were solved. The location is good for those who are not looking for night life. It is a peacefull part of Chaweng. The hotel is very well decorated and the rooms are very nice. Brakfast is ok.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The swiming pool bar had a happy hour from 3 to 4pm.
