Great spacious (let's say enormous) rooms. Nice staff especially at the restaurant.

Western food is not very good. Go for the thai dishes. Food at the pool not so great. Lots of stairs. No elevators. Isolated.

I really liked this hotel. We traveled with our month old son and it was great to have such a spacious room (more like an apartment). We paid for a penthouse but I saw great deals for their suites. I would go for that in the future. The hotel really was not that busy and if you're looking for somewhere quiet, it's a great option. There are cheap places to do laundry down the road and convenient shuttle to Chaweng. Overall a great stay with some minor downsides. If this place had good cheap thai food this would be the best hotel. The breakfast is amazing though. Make sure you order the pancakes ! Out of this world.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Make sure you book a snorkeling tour in the national park nearby. A great day out.

Location does not able to walk to beach

There is a welcome drinks available, the penhouse room is great, a very nice pool villa on the roof top and me able to enjoy an early morning coffee and newspaper while enjoying the morning sunlight, a afortable good breakfirst, high room cleaniness and customer service friendly. Indeed a very relaxing hotel to stay. Will definately stay in this hotel for the second time.

Atmosphere..Very samui in different way. Plenty Coconut tree mountain view and sea view. Very comfort for transfer with the nice guy.

Wonderful & friendly staff. Clean. Good facilities. Secluded location (for Honeymooners).

No access to wifi. Pool bar staff didn't attend to the area as regularly as we would have liked. Limited selection of English cable channels

It was a wonderful hotel and the 3 bedrm pool villa was beautiful. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a friendly reception and our booking was handled quickly and efficiently. We were regular visitors at Kirin Spa and were always satisfied with the level of service there. We also frequented the pool area, which had a fantastic view. The only thing is the man attending the pool bar was not always available when we needed orders. The location was a bit away from town, but there are regular shuttle buses that take you there. Overall, we'd recommend the resort for families and honeymooners or people who are just looking for a nice relaxing retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Koh Samui.

Hotel Feature Tip : The Kirin Spa has fabulous services.

Good and lot facilities with very large convenience room and service from staff who have well trained compare with samui cliff view that staff always gossip.welcome and serive mind here. nice garden and libary.close to samui airport.good spa.

but don't have seaview for who have car to go any place and take rest with convenience room in the hotel.food quite high price.

roof-top jacuzzi was stunning. complimentary breakfast was nice.

location-wise is not the best. but they provide free shuttles back and forth, so it was not a big problem for us.

we booked penthouse and it was AMAZING. the suit was huge and well decored. We loved loved the huge jacuzzi on the top roof. Definitely coming back for that! Ideal for romantic getaways! Staffs were very helpful and generally speak okay english. as for the restaurant, their thai food are pretty good, love their tom yum soup. Tried their massage as well. we did the couple package for massage, body mask, facial, and milk bath. loved every single part. you may find cheap prices at other places, but the decor and their service definitely worth the premium!

Beautiful pool villa

The living room is not connected to the bedrooms. There was not a proper shower hanger in the room which made taking a bath the easier option. The fitness centre could be improved.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this resort - the pool villa was fantastic with a larger size pool than most other pool villas at other resorts. The breakfast was fantastic and delivered into your villa. We hired a motor bike from hotel which was more expensive 300BHT instead of 150BHT outside but it gave us peace of mind, as it was a good bike and the rental places outside wanted you to leave your passport as collateral. There is a great sound system in the living area which was great and free internet and DVD rental. The separate living and bedrooms was inconveninent at 1st but we got used to it in the end. We got a great deal from Agoda on the hotel rate.

away from the beach

we were there just for 2 nights and wished to stay longer. if you need a relaxed week or two in a luxurious resort this is definetly a place to go. it is not situated on the beach but the shuttle it is always there for you. the breakfast was delicious. the rooms... more than superb. a large variety of free dvd-s.

I don't think anything needs improving.

This place is absolutely out of this world. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty, they gave us freezing cold flannels and coconut juice before transporting us to our villa in a little buggy. We only stayed for two nights but it was so worth it. The villa itself was I think one of the smallest out of all of them, but it was incredible, extremely clean and tidy, the pool was clean etc. It was so private and not overlooked by anyone. The staff come to clean in the daytime and again at night-time to turn down the bed and plug in the insect repellent. I really can't fault this accommodation and would recommend to anyone.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : This accommodation is in Mae Nam, which is not so touristy as Chaweng. If you're looking for a bit of culture if you do want to venture out, but also somewhere incredible to stay, this is it.

This hotel was Great it was every thing we where looking for to relax The beach 5 minites away The hotel is in a nice place on the hill,the town is just 15to 20 minutes away The Hotel food is very good and ok price,the Breakfast is great and sets you up for day Relax or travel It has a nice pool very clean and looked after as is the beach The rooms are very good with all you need,i will go back well recomended good value for money

Travel tip : Hire a bike and see the Island it was so much fun

Quite & Clean. And every crew was very kind. Interior was also excellent.

Far from Chaweng Beach. But you can ride shuttle bus.

3N4D in Kirikayan are Wonderful. I have visited many resort but I think Kirikayan was one of the best hotel ever I visit.

I could be typing “Pros” during hours. It's one of the best hotels I have been. And it’s the best hotel where we have been in Thailand. Best pros: Room size (more than 130 sq meters each floor), services, staff, Internet/library, restaurant, garden, swimming pool, transportation service, room compliments, room views, breakfast, ….

The only "Con" I could say is that resort is located in a hill, little far from the main towns but they solve perfectly this "problem" with a regular coach service!

It's one of the best hotels I have been and the best in Thailand! All you can dream is in this Resort!Friendly and helpful staff, nice restaurant, amazing spa, nice swimming pool, ... And rooms are not rooms! They are full equipe homes! You can enjoy of jacuzzi, home cinema, fresh fruit, jungle views. Simply Fantastic!

Not at the beach. And maybe the breakfast. I like buffet and this is not.

This is the best hotel i have been too. Best room i have seen. Really big with DVD, Jaccuzzi, Living room... It has a lounge next to the lobby with free internet, DVDs, Books. The pool is great and the hotel staff are great.

really pretty (especially the bathroom), HUGE apartment...we expected a room but it was a HUGE apartment, clean, nice view. great breakfast, our package included breakfast. breakfast is ordered individually but there wasn't any limit as to how much you can order.

not on the beach have to take the shuttle, house keeping could've been better (the place was still clean tho), pricey dinner at the resort, but if you take the shuttle to the beach there is a restaurant there w/ pretty good food for a fraction of the hotel price

We had a wonderful stay at this resort. It was definitely a sanctuary. Our room faced the pool and the pool was gorgeous. It was very relaxing and quiet. We went to the resort from another part of the island and we were not aware of the shuttle service from the hotel. We rode on the back of the taxi trucks and got drop off on the main road. It is quite a walk from where we were dropped off to the resort and by the time we got there we were sweating like a pig. We were greeted with a cold towel and a cold young coconut. We instantly relaxed and cooled off.
