Nice setting. The room is in a good size. Service is good. Brilliant location. 15 minute complimentary Spa is a nice gesture.
The outdoor bathroom/toilet is a nice idea but the jacuzzi is not quite clean so we didn't get in. The restaurant is ok but the service can be quite slow sometimes.
This hotel offers pretty much everything you're after. It's on the main beach but far enough to get some privacy. All the actions are only a stone throw away. Service is good and food is good. Our Garden Cluster room is also good. Staffs are friendly. Overall experience is 8 out of 10.
Restaurant Tip : A lot of nice restaurants and bars are nearby which would help you saving money from getting a taxi. Monkey Bay is about 5 mins walk and they have a beach party every Saturday. Good atmosphere.

- beautiful rooms (villa)
- king size beds
- the pool is heavenly
- ample choice at breakfast
- amazing view from the restaurant
- very classy decoration with respect for the thai style
- our room had an open ceiling in the bathroom, so we shared our bathroom with musquitoes, geckos and snails...
Le Paradis is a breath of fresh air in Chaweng where the typical rather tacky Thai style can become a bit much at times. The hotel is absolutely good value and we found peace and quiet there, as well as great food and a very good bed to catch up on some sleep. The hotel is situated off the main beach road in Chaweng which means that you don't need a taxi if you want to party in Chaweng. We loved the quality of the service and the room which was lovely and very stylish.
Restaurant Tip : Definitely check out the "Betelnut" restaurant a few yards away from the hotel. Absolutely fabulous!

A piece of charming serenity in the midst of busy Chaweng... you can experience an ideal tropical luxury without paying for one. Very well maintained resort with friendly staff and excellent service. Mira, the person in charge, has an eye for every detail. This stylish resort will be highly recommended to anyone with finer taste of life.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hire a bike and travel on your own. It's easy and fun.

Nice cosy environment. Near to the beach. Excellent breakfast. Staff was friendly and attentive.
Room was a little small. Small for the bathroom.
The resort was selected as we wanted somewhere near the beach. The first impressions of the resort was good. The Manager (I think called Mira, from Finland) was good and friendly, and had many recommendations on food for us. Overall, we had a good stay and would recommend it to anyone who wants a nice, cosy, undisturbed stay away from the crowd.

Great Location, beautiful setting, infinity pool on the beach!
Some rooms very small, not sure about outside bathrooms.
We arrived late evening and first thought we were staying in the jungle. The resort consists of rooms like lodges on stilts and bungalows all concealed by massive amounts of foliage with a central pond with a bridge across. As days passed the appeal grew as one appreciated it was designed to give privacy and quiet. The room service was good. The beach bar reastaurant was overlooking the beach and the food excellent. The pool area was beautiful overlooking Chawend Beach which in April was very quiet. A 5 - 10min stroll either way took you to either noisy Chaweng with all its tattoo parlours and poor drainage system or up the beach to some great full on beach bars where we eat most nights for about £5 pp. Great atmosphere. If you want to have some peace and quiet on Chaweng this was a great place to stay, good value.
Hotel Feature Tip : Many of the beach bars have happy hours.

Quite expensive but worth it
Outside bathrooms invite the mosquitos
We met up with our gap year son and his friend for a couple of nights. We chose Le Paradis because of its position; we wanted quiet location but nearby to beach bars and town. Thats what we got. The pool area and restaurant were right on the beach which was quiet (April) and the beach bars and other restaurants 5 - 10 mins walk up the beach. Felt completely safe, slept like a log. Very beautiful big long beach, shame about the jet skis. Rooms big, Excellent breakfast and firendly staff. A great boutique hotel, not too big, and good location.
Restaurant Tip : Go up the beach for some great places to have a drink or eat.

Lovely room. We had the Thai-style (there are modern rooms as well). Nice covered balcony. Easy access to beach. Nice (small) pool. Great service. Superb spa.
Bar service a little weak. Very quiet (could be a pro for some). Shower couldn't get cool.
We had a very nice time in Le Paradis. The staff were very gracious. Going up and down the beach, we found livelier bar areas, so it was fine that the one in our little peaceful place was quiet. We only had breakfast there, so can't comment on the food. I had the best massage of my life at the spa!
Hotel Feature Tip : Massages are cheaper off-site, but you can't go wrong with a splurge at the spa.

Good location, friendly staff, amazing rooms. We loved our outside bathroom! Beach was beautiful and the garden - like rainforest.
We didn't like breakfast. I like more buffet type of breakfast.
This hotel is lovely - intimate, beautiful and peaceful. We loved our room, especially the outdoor bathroom. The location was also good. The beach was really nice. But I still wouldn't rate this hotel as 5 stars.

Location on Chaweng Beach, minutes from the "action".
We were given a Thai Style room, room is very small and there is barely enough space to open your suitcase..shower area old with mould growing between the tiles, I know it's the climate and dampness - but for the rates - they really need to consider the general standard of maintenance. You do need to be careful walking around on the wooden flooring, both in your villa and around the grounds/pool - rusty nails and like around. - Breakfast by the pool/beach was great location - choice was limited - and I do not like menu cards to choose from -
Overall - don't expect a 5 star retreat - and I almost forgot Great bed and beding could not be faulted.

Proximity to the beach, boutique size.
Rooms were on the small side, but we did get one of the 'traditional' rooms so the outdoor area (porch) was huge.
Le Paradis is very centrally located on Chaweng Beach. It's major selling points are its small size and boutique atmosphere. Overall, I thought that it was a very pleasant hotel with good amenities and service. Chaweng Beach was a little too busy for my taste, but that is not the hotel's fault!

Territory, location, breakfast, staff
Second floor room was noisy at night because of a/c unit on the roof
Good location, nice territory, tasty breakfast, friendly staff. It was my second trip to Samui and I am satisfied with this hotel and service.
The first night we had a noisy room, but the manager gave us another room and we didn't have any problems during our stay

Great location, amazing staff, nice breakfast, awesome room, stunning garden and a perfect hotel room.
Upon arrival, upgraded to a garden room - this is well worth the extra money and highly recommended. Call ahead to specify contemporary or Thai traditional room, I opted for the former. After a short walk through the absolutely stunning garden, the room was large and had all amenities one could wish for. The best part was actually outside, the (private) open air bathroom is truely novel. The bed was very comfortable!
The restaurant overlooks the beach and serves a really nice breakfast, although they did have some trouble getting my eggs right. The food otherwise is right up there with the other restaurants in Chaweng, although I didn't try it a whole lot.
The staff at Le Paradis is a dream. Super polite, friendly and helpful and even stuff left behind in the hotel room got returned properly.
Restaurant Tip : Red Snapper is worth a visit down the street. Although the latin band can get a little loud, the food is really good. A closer alternative is dinner at The Page, but also a little more expensive.

Location, breakfast, pool
do not get the standard room
I got the standard romm at first and it was lousy, with horrible lighting and a very loud a/c. I upgraded to a superior room and they are very sharp. I would easily stay here again. I like the Chawenng beach better, but the town of Lamai better for nightlife. You can take a tuk tuk to the other beach if you like, and the one here is not bad.
