Located in Thongson Bay, Melati Beach Resort offers easy access to the great shopping and nightlife attractions of Samui. Surrounded by rainforest, rooms have a tropical decor and ambiance and are well-equipped with mod cons such as TVs and mini-fridges. The resort’s luxurious pool villas come with their own private garden and pool. Melati’s open-air beach restaurant is famous for its Thai seafood, while the pool bar is great spot for enjoying a drink while listening to the live band. Recreational facilities include pool, gym library, gift shop and spa, which has a highly recommended menu of aromatherapy, Thai and deep tissue massages.

Very friendly staff, excellent modern rooms, beautiful hotel territory, delicious food, quiet and peaceful location.
The beach is really bad - rocky, not very clean, and generally doesn't remind of the "tropical paradise beach" that one can see on the hotel pictures at the Melati website. SPA is unimpressive. Drinks are overpriced (so are Thai massage and other SPA services). Bad connections to Chaweng.
If you are looking for a nice and relaxing vacation, this may be the place for you (if you prefer chilling at the pool and the beach's lack of beauty doesn't concern you much).
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : A trip to the splendid Angthong Marine National Park is a must!!

Anyway, great attention of the staff people. Poole is the best.
I can not get through the English did not.
The new hotel, so much that it was not used, attention is great. You can walk outside, (there was a shuttle bus) I think the best people in the hotel slowly. The pool is great. I seem to create an integrated and sea. You can also go to the sea and transparency was not so good. May be the strong wind. Some people swim.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We both should participate in SUNOKERINGUTSUA. Hotel and tour booking desk, come to meet the bus.
