private beach,amazing pool, rich breakfest,friendly crew far from the city, no ocean view from the rooms. we stayed at the private pool villa,tanned nude all day in the swimming pool.

Very friendly staff, excellent modern rooms, beautiful hotel territory, delicious food, quiet and peaceful location. The beach is really bad - rocky, not very clean, and generally doesn't remind of the "tropical paradise beach" that one can see on the hotel pictures at the Melati website. SPA is unimpressive. Drinks are overpriced (so are Thai massage and other SPA services). Bad connections to Chaweng. If you are looking for a nice and relaxing vacation, this may be the place for you (if you prefer chilling at the pool and the beach's lack of beauty doesn't concern you much).
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : A trip to the splendid Angthong Marine National Park is a must!!

Anyway, great attention of the staff people. Poole is the best. I can not get through the English did not. The new hotel, so much that it was not used, attention is great. You can walk outside, (there was a shuttle bus) I think the best people in the hotel slowly. The pool is great. I seem to create an integrated and sea. You can also go to the sea and transparency was not so good. May be the strong wind. Some people swim.
