we really enjoyed our stay at muang samui villa & suites hotel. to start off with, our room was one of the best i have experienced among other hotels i have stayed at, with our own private pool in a quite surrounding, no noise and easy to relax without any disturbance. the service from the staff is second to none, we were always looked after and they took that extra step to ensure we enjoyed our stay. finally, the location was great as it is not too far yet not too close to the busy city of cheweng.

Spacious rooms in classic Thai style - and your own pool is a real treat.

This hotel is real luxury. Tastefully decorated in classic Thai syle - and rooms almost over-large. 35 paces from balcony to front door. Pool suite was a great choice - swimming right into your own bathroom. When the gardens mature and offer more privacy, this will be even better. I have to mention this incident: a boy climbing between rooms fell from the 3rd floor and crashed onto our bedroom awning and into our garden. Had multiple fractures of one arm. Management were on the scene in a few minutes; the ambulance was there within 10 mins. Paramedic nurse stabilsed his arm and we calculated he was in hospital in 15 more minutes. Real professionalism. This hotel deserves every accolade. (Management - please add some towel hooks. The bamboo ladder looks great but isn't functional - but as my only tiny complaint, please understand that your hotel is fantastic.)
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Hire a car and tour the island. There is little of interest in Chalong Beach area. But I bet you stay in your room most of the time - who would want to leave it.

While staying at this hotel my 11yr son had an accident not through any fault of the hotel. The staff and management have been helpful above and beyond our expectations. From the beginning following the ambulance to ensure we had no problems at the hospital, carting my husband and other son between the hospital and hotel, a beautiful get well bouquet , organizing the cancellation and rebooking of our flights and over hotel bookings and ensuring my husband and son were accommodated whilst I was at the hospital with my youngest. I cannot praise the actions of these more. Will definitely be coming back to this hotel on my next trip to Samui.

Huge, well equipped room with lovely covered outdoor area overlooking private pool.
The included Breakfast was a very good buffet style catering to all tastes, the dining staf were very attentive and helpful.
The beach is very safe for swimming and the water warm at this time of year and ther are plenty of restaurants to choose from along the beach.

we chose the pool villa garden view and were very satisfied with the overall beautiful huge layout. it included a big bedroom, huge separate living room, wide outside area with big pool and a big modern high quality jacuzzi in the bathroom. nice wooden style. no pressure to leave your room all day.
even though the room is high class, the service is the same as with basic rooms, which we found to be inconsistent and a bit below standard. two bathrooms are far apart, but the 2nd bathroom water did not work nor contain any towels. the only seating in the living room had no cushion only bare wood, no english movie channels, tv too small for room size etc.
the beach area is very narrow for the big hotel complex, so we were happy to have our own pool.
Restaurant Tip:
Across the road you have a casual restaurant "Krua Thai Restaurant" which had nice food, service at reasonable prices.

i stayed in muang pool villa with my 3 younger kids. the pool villa was very big with a private pool and jacuzzi bath tub! the beach and the swimming pool is also very nice. i like the food seller on the beach :)
the only negative thing about muang is the breakfast is not much of the choices and the housekeeping wasn't as clean as i expected. however, overall it's worth to stay once there!

Over all is great! Room is big with nice decoration. I love ambience of the hotel. It's very peaceful and nice land scape. Good for a couple who want privacy. Spa is great! Hotel staffs are very welcome. They always keep smiling and offer help. Beach is nice, not so many people.
