Very good service ....excellent location
Very close to the happening part of koh samui
In house activities are less I really like koh samui and i am glad i chose nora i had hired a car and saw other parts also but i feel chaweng is the best place ,the thing i liked about the hotel is inpite of being in chaweng it is little away from the crowd one gets a luxury of a resport and location of a boutique hotel.
Food was very nice and spread was great.
Excellent pool. service was very good staff was very polite.

Excellent staff, spacious & luxurious rooms. Pool is quite large with plenty of deck chairs. Breakfast is very high quality. Room service is a little on the expensive side This was my second time to Nora and I will definately be back again. Such a pleasant place to relax and enjoy Koh Samui away from the hustle of the Chaweng's shopping strip. Breakfast and the pool Bar are excellent and all the rooms are of the highest quality.

restaurant and pool are right on the beach, resort has a private beach that is stunning. Imagine waking up every morning and having a gorgeous buffet breakfast overlooking a calm beach - amazing. The resort was beautiful - like out of a movie. We were greeted with coconut mock tails which was perfect after the hot drive from the airport. Airport is only 10 min max away. The staff are friendly and easy to deal with. They will cater to your every need. Our room (a standard villa) overlooked a tropical man built rain forest with a river and waterfall and we awoke to the sounds of birds and wildlife every morning. A short walk down the path takes you to the restaurants and pool (with a pool bar) right on the beach. The food is amazing, around 5 star quality, and yet you don't pay more then $20 aust a meal. Put it this way - we never wanted to leave!! A must for a romantic holiday - they even do weddings, and the wedding we saw was stunning and very well organized. No faults here - 100 out of 10!
Shopping Tip : If you want to go down to the main beach/shopping areas, the resort has a free mini bus service to chaweng beach at 10.30 am, 3 pm and i think 10 pm. They pick you up too. It was really easy for us and they were very reliable.

- Quite a distance from chaweng town centre The hotel room definitely has a 4-star rating. Furniture and design suits the beach resort theme. Service is excellent as they greet you wherever you go. Swimming pool is very big and clean. There is also a jacuzzi pool.
But ants can be found in the room which is irritating. Room is also quite far from swimming pool and breakfast.
Hotel Feature Tip : Hotel is very near to the airport actually. You should bargain for the least amount of money for airport transfer.

The staff friendliness, large spacious villas and great buffet breakfast. It is just out of the hectic part of Chaweng (3 minutes on scooter) Will be out of order from January for an upgrade. After being married at Nora in 2005, we decided to return and the experience was so great we extended our stay for the full 9 nights.
The staff are very personable and make the resort what it is, a couple even remembering us from our wedding. The villas are large and luxurious. The buffet breakfast is to die for. Thanks to Paul, Lucy and Lloydd (GM) for another wonderful stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Starz Cabaret show is a great free couple of hours

- mosquito attacks at the lobby and restaurant Very good services in general that gave us a very pleasant stay at Nora Beach. Though we were mostly out for snorkeling and golfing, we found the hotel staff very pleasant & helpful (restaurant and spa reservation, car rental contact, etc). They never declined for our requests...Frontdesk could recognise us on the 3rd day...We barely stayed in the hotel.
The room is considerably old and facilities are standard. Thanks for the reviews at this websites - we didn't expect much at the hotel room.
Travel tip : if you rent a car for 1 or 2 days, you may request the car rental company to send the car to the room. Or, you can pick up car from airport (Hertz, Budget, etc have counters at arrival hall). Hotel provides free shuttle to airport.

Quality, friendly staff, quiet We were married in this wonderful resort 4 years ago and it hasn't change. The same friendly and helpful staff, great villas and excellent food. Pride is a word that describes the Nora style
Nightlife Tip : Far enough away from the nightlife to be secluded but really only 5 minutes away. Stars Cabaret a great show.

good locatio excellent staff it's our second time in the resort and this time we came with a two years old baby. we were supposed to stay three nights, but then extended it for a whole week. The staff is very friendly and the service is excellent. The pool area and the beach are beautiful and the resort is very pretty. The breakfast is very rich and has a lot of variety. The restaurant is also very good. It's an excellent resort and spa!!! We will come back for a third time...

beautiful beach, great staff, excellent breakfast It's was our seconed time in the Nora beach resort and this time we were with a 2 years old baby. The location, in our opinion is excellent because it has a nice queit beach far away from the noise of Chaweng center, but still a walking distance (about 20 minutes) and there's a hotel shuttle. The staff is very friendly, the food is good and the service was excellent. We will definitely return to this resort for the third time...

Friendly Staff. Clean rooms. Great food. Attractive landscaping. Large, Clean swimming pool. The internet access was poor but staff explained they were in process of upgrading service. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our few days stay at Nora Beach resort. The ocean-side restaurant offered a fantastic view and the morning breeze made the breakfast buffet outdoors just terrific. Dinner menu was also wonderful and great prices! A little bit up the road from the main shopping area but the shuttle bus to shopping/dining areas is fast and free at certain times of day and inexpensive the rest of the time (very convenient, too). Maybe just the time of year but not many kids. A few honeymooners but generally, patrons seemed to be mostly middle-aged. Some good looking facilities we didn't really investigate were the spa, gym and banquet room. I definitely recommend Nora Beach Resort for a relaxing, affordable get-away.

pool , beach, food, room , welcome slight hill if bad on your legs this hotel is amazing, from the minute we arrived at the hotel to a welcome drink and cool towel.. the room is lovely wooden carved beds balcony all really clean and tidy.
the veiw from where you have breakfast and at he top of the pool is amazing, breathtaking... happy hour at the pool bar is great swim up for a cocktail. the staff are very good and tend to your needs, and the breakfast choice is outstanding i have travelled around the world and never had a choice of breakfast like it. There is a shuttle bus which is good into the town at night also. i would stay here again and tell any one to .
Restaurant Tip : must go to the ark bar on the beach on a wednesday get there early evening to watch the sun go down.

not far away form the airport & down town chungwen as well cant think of any at the moment although this hotel was not entirely matech the way i thought still i had a some relaxing time at this hotel , at night this hotel is very quiet very suitable for families / couple or even solo traveler . i will suggest you try out the spa across the hotel called eranda it cost a litlle bit less (just a little bit) but its a lot better servise...

Complementary water
They spray each night so you can be reasonably confident there wont be creepy crawlies in your room The staff were lovely and no matter how many times we called reception they were always friendly and ready to help. You get a bottle of water free in your room each day for each guest and we realised after a few days that you can just ring up and ask for more which was great. The pool is beautiful and we made the most of the swim up bar. Loved the music that the bar dudes were playing each day.
We got a great deal on the internet which made it ridiculously good value for money. The food was fantastic...we eat thai food a lot at home but this was the real deal.
Have been recommending it to friends back home. There are heaps of places that are dirt cheap but this one was a step up and we were really happy to be in a safe, clean and more peaceful environment than what some of the other places offer.
