pool was amazing, great tuc tuc service into town every half hour! staff very friendly. lots of steps...but we knew when we booked i was travelling with my two friends and this resort was one of the best. it was not far from the main area, 10 minute walk or regular taxi service from hotel. Pool is huge and provide pool towels which is always a bonus when travelling - excellent vaule for money for travellers!!!! rooms spacious, clean and had big balcony.
Nightlife Tip : great night life in chewng

very clean hotel. the room 2big and very nice with new fittings. a/c very good. the pool very large and clean.
many stairs until the room. 2far from center area. breakfast without choice stewed egg with bread and rice...every day more off the same. i booked 3 night in the internet and stay more 6 night..about the price i get lower in the reception.the hotel 2far from the center but if u rent motorbike(5$per day)so the mobility 2easy...anyway i like it because the hotel 2quiet.the pool very nice and large.about the stairs..u have 2choose room on the first/second floor otherwise u gone a break your legs. i absolutely recommend 2people who want good hotel with low budget.
Restaurant Tip : 10 minute walkink (or 2minute by motorbike) on the main road u will find on the right side 'mitra resturant'.they have amazing food(thai food)for a little money. u never be disappointed.

needs renovation, too close to rave club up the road ive stayed here twice before, its a good budget hotel, nice pool and garden and does a good breakfast.Dont stay in room 306 because if theres a rave night at the local club up the road dont expect to get much sleep as this room is closest to it.Just wish the staff realised this as the hotel was far from full when i stayed there this time.
Travel tip : rent a bike opposite for about 7 bucks a day as its away from the beach and is a great way to get around the island, no need for a licence, helmet optional.

good hotel, nice view, very helpfull front desk people. I will stay here again. I found more than i expected. it's not on the beach, but you can walk 10 min or every 30 min they provide you free shuttle bus. I stayed in Nova Samui 3 night in Octomber 09 and me, my wife and my daughter of 3 years old had a great time. The swimming pool is lovely, the place is quite, just the singing of the birds in morning can disturb you in a very nice way. The breakfast was very good. The food in the restaurant was good and not expensive

The hotel had a large swimming pool that was quiet. The rooms were large and were equiped with t.v and airconditioniung. They provided a shuttle service to and from the center of townb every half an hour. The cheapest rooms were on the top of the hill and therefore a long walk to get there. The hotel nova is situated ten minutes walk from the main nightlife strip of chaweng beach. The staff here were really freindly and helpful. The rooms were large and clean and having a verander was a bonus. The hotel restaurant offered a good variety of food at a reasonable price. The hotel shuttle to the town saves alot of time walking in the sun.

This hotel had a really nice pool, when they turned the waterfall on during the day it was a real soothing place to be. There was very few people in and around the pool which allowed for a really relaxinx time. The hotel provided a shuttle to the town area every half an hour and did this til midnight. The hotel was only a ten minute walk from the main nightlife street and it felt very safe to walk home with a friend. We satyed in a room that was the furthest from the swimming pool and bar area so it was tiring walking up the stairs but this was advertised when we booked so they did not hide this. I would recommend the high hill room at the hotel to those who are on a budget as they are a little cheaper but take much effort to get there. The rooms were very spacey and the bed was big. Our verander was quite private which was nice and they always has hot water available for showers. The staff were friendly and always available to help. If you want to stay near the beach then this is not the hotel for you. Although the shuttle was very good it is a good 20-30 mins walk to the beach if you wanted to walk.
Travel tip : Scooters are the best way to get around the island. There are shops just over the road from the hotel to hire scooters and bikes for a good price.

The location is very good, away from the noise of the centre, but not too far away.
People working there are extremely kind and helpful, in particular I found James very very professional i recommend this place to the people who do not mind to be a bit away from the city centre, with all the noise and traffic you will find there even at night time. you can reach the beach walking 10 minutes or renting a motorbike, so that you can choose the part of the beach you want to go to. rooms are big and clean, people nice.
Restaurant Tip : have dinner at the local market located 5 minutes from the hotel: fantastic thai food for the right price

Friendly staff, great pool, value for money.
really enjoyed my stay at the nova samui,staff always very friendly and smiling.
my room was very large with a great view from the large balcony,pool was great and very good cocktails from the pool bar.
this hotel gives great value for money and could not really find any fault considering the price i paid.
the hotel was very relaxed,and it was a pleasure to stay.free shuttle into town was great as well.
the manager was also very helpful.
definitely stay here again in april.

Only good features was the pool brekfast was not good small selection room was dark and resort was old gardens over grown and at least 2 kilometers from main street. The only good thing was the pool the staff were freindly but resort was old i also bought computer time and ended up with vires on lap top even thought i hade nortons sucurity the only good thing was the pool was big but would not recomend this resort but for price it was cheap i should have paid more.

nice walk to town, and away from the action at night. my balcony looked 3 ft. over at the next balcony and that was it. not what I pictured for first night on Samui. Also, once the staff realized where I was staying the customer service was terrible. Seem's like a really cool hotel, but I was only on samui for one night and tried to go cheap. don't do that here@! They had really nice places right on the beach, but cough up the dough!
Travel tip : if you stay here, you are away's from the action of town, but it's nice to get away!

Nothing, everything was just lovely We were meant to stay in this hotel for 2 nights and ended up staying 8night. Loved it. Very friendly staff. Food was cheap and cheerful. Loved their cocktails. The swimming pool is very quiet, not crowded like other ones. Gave us a free tuk -tuk service to the centre, 15mins walk away.
Shopping Tip : Always walk away when they offer and they'll come after you with a brilliant deal

Free Taxi Service to and from town Nothing. I cannot say one bad word about this hotel On our arrival we were greeted in a pleasent manner. The food in the hotel was lovely and had planned to stay for only 2 nights, but ended up staying for a total of 8 nights. I would highly recommend this hotel to people of all ages
Nightlife Tip : We were right beside the Ice Bar and near the Black moon party. Whether your into the party scene or want to relax, this hotel offers both to its customers
