If you are looking for a beachside resort, but away from the noise and crowds that usually go with one, this is it. Situated on Bang Po Beach, close to the main ferry port, this resort offers all accommodations in villas. The beach is walking distance from the resort, and offers peace and quiet unlike the other beaches on the island. Panalee Resort also offers diving, snorkeling, kayaking and island tours, and others can also be arranged from the your desk. The best way to explore the island is on a rented vehicle, and that can be done at the resort itself. The open space both indoors and outdoors is sure to impress the most discerning of travelers.

Quiet hotel set back from the beach in Bang por

The staff,although friendly,didnt show any interest in the guests.The place was empty and although the pool looked clean it didnt feel like a place to relax.The breakfast was poor,maybe a thai rice breakfast would have been easier and more enjoyable.It felt more like a b+b or guest house.Lots of parking at the front and quick internet,however this might be becuase no one was online.It could be some much better with just 10% more work.

Lovely place to stay with very friendly staff

Great place to stay if you want to relax and just enjoy the quiet. We had a standard room which was big and had a spacious balcony with sea view just by the pool. The beach is just a 2 min walk from the hotel and this is one of the most beautiful and secluded beaches we have seen so far on our trip around Thailand. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful when arranging scooter rental, laundry and our boat trip to our next destination. They even rang and arranged a transfer with our next hotel. The only cons are: no wifi in room, dont serve dinner and charge for coffee/tea in room.
Great place, great staff, we will be back!

Panalee was a nice getaway compared to the more touristy part of the island. Though there were no insect screens and hot water was hit or miss, it was a great stay with a wonderful staff that made our holiday quite memorable.
Travel tip:
Dont forget bug spray!
