Right by Lomprayah Catamaran pier for exploring other islands. Nice sized pool. Sunbeds are old and broken.
Reception has moved to Coco Palm resort next door which is a pain. We have stayed at Pinnacle Resort Samui several times in the last 3 years. The main reason for using it is it's location to the Lomprayah Catarmaran pier for transfers to Koh Tao. The rooms are clean with good facilities. The gardens are well kept. The pool is lovely but the sunbeds need replacing. Most of them are broken. The food in fine, although expensive, as are soft drinks and alcohol. As is the same with most places in Thailand, there is no discount for staying e.g. 1 week, nor if you book more than 1 room.
Restaurant Tip : Great restaurant about a 5 minute walk from hotel towards Coco Palm resort, on the righthandside. No idea what the name of it is, but you can't miss it, it is all on it's own.

Broken sunbeds
Fruit at breakfast not ripe Booked hotel for my father and his girlfriend for 4 days to get over the jetlag. Nice and relaxed. Quiet location. Breakfast was OK - omelettes good, fruit not ripe at all, which is silly given that it is the tropics! Comfortable bed, nice shower. Strange that the deluxe bungalows are at the back of the resort, near the road, and away from the beach and pool. Sunbeds need replacing.

Mae Nam beach is very quiet compared to many other beaches on Samui. The speed boat dock was within walking distance. Scooter rental right across the way was cheap and easy. Location, service, restaurant. In the middle of the night our a/c burst and we had to switch rooms. The front desk people were a little grumpy. All and all, wasn't my favorite place.

Pinnacle resort is nestled at the very end of the Maenam stretch, just a place for those who look for a real rest. The garden-like resort is well managed, and the friendly staff tries to fulfill all wishes For those who look for entertainment, it may be a bit too quiet. You better move closer to the center of Maenam or to some of the more touristic spots of the Island. The resort is under German management. We liked that the manager was very keen to implement all suggestions (of course only those that made sense). So we were asking for selling fresh fruit juices at the restaurant - and next day there was a fruit blender there. You also enjoy W-Lan at every place in the resort - and seafood buffet is excellent. We will go back - and I was there with three friends, who all agreed it is a good place to stay for those with a small budget and a sense for Thai life and European management.

Quiet and nice place for those looking for total relax Very nice and quiet resort situated directly on the beach. Excellent cuisine incl. fresh fish. There si the pier in the walking distance for departures of the boats to various trips for diving, snorcheling and to the other islands. Easy to go to other places on the island like Bop Hut incl. its marvellous Fisherman´s village.

Nice, clean beach for residents. Free Internet in reception, 30 mins limit per room. Good food and service. Long walk to nearest main road. Old toilet seats, need replacing. Late room cleaning leaves no time for siesta. No television reception for 5 days of holiday, even though reported. Off the beaten track and not very accessible to town and entertainment. 500BHT to get anywhere by taxi.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Use tour operator opposite hotel for good deals and good service.

-look like a prison. We where shocked when we arrived. We went to the Pinnacle coco Samui Resort & Spa. It is the from same company next to this hotel. It has a better standard. If u need only a bed for sleep it is ok.

There were bugs crawling in the room. Bunch of mosquitoes in the bathroom I think the Pinnacle is a place to go if you are looking for a bargain, but know that you get what you pay for. The staff were nice and the beach next to the resort is also pretty good. But the resort is a bit out of the ways, and the room had a number of bugs crawling inside it. Next time, I think I'd rather spend some extra money and stay somewhere cleaner and without bugs!

The bungalows are big as is the bathroom. Nice grounds on a nice beach. The resort is at the North end of Maenam beach. So there is not a lot to do around it - besides few restaurants. The hotel bar refused to sell us cocktails at 9.30 in the evening because the bar man has already gone. The resort could really be nice, but lacks somehow on liveliness and atmosphere. I send a message to the GM commenting the experience with the bar staff, but didn't get an answer. Just to be clear, we are no party people, but like to have drink in the evening - and I think a 3 star beach resort should sell cocktails at this time in the evening.
Travel tip : We liked the nearby restaurant "Luna hut" a lot. It's run by a very attentive and friendly lady.

Well laid out, clean and comfortable, helpful staff. The beach was never crowded and always a sun bed free. A delight! Dead at night, we assume every one goes on their tour operator's night outs. Mainly French and Germans as opposed to British people - but you might consider that a plus as very civilised! We had a very relaxing stay at Pinnacle Samui Resort & Spa - just what we needed after exploring temples in Cambodia. The bungalows were lovely to come back to in the evening and there was everything we needed by the beach.
The beach is just a short stroll through the hotel's grounds and is empty of people other than hotel guest and those from the hotels on either side - you have the place to yourself.
Nightlife Tip : Head left to the end of the beach for a good bar if you don't want a trip into town.

Excellent vehicle hire just across the road. Several good restuarants within easy walking distance.
The only beach as good we saw was at a very luxurious resort eight times the price!

Very nice facility, green and not too loud Continental breakfast, ie toast and egg. Hotel in central location in the bungalows is uphill. Breakfast not so good. Disadvantage: a long way to the beach, this beautiful prospects. Beautiful balconies at each bungalow. Language: English. At the reception is very friendly uses. A rather quiet accommodation; quality is very good. The path to the top (the hotel is situated on a hill / mountain) in the heat is quite burdensome. Bungalows very well equipped.
