Service, cozy small restaurant, pool and location as a home base for diving, snorkling etc. Beach is quite limited with boat traffic. Also airport is very close, the noise is not a problem, bust some might find it disturbing that planes land over your head. Service really made a diffrence, all services were managed fast and with a smile-> thai massage was super, they come to your room within 5 mins of the order and quality is much better than on beach stalls. They even helped with traffic to cross the street and "take off" with moped. The area itself is quite dead, but the boats to islands, snorkling, diving leave there so it is quite nice home base for that sort of thing. There are also couple of temple areas close by, and if you rent a moped it's 5 mins to Chewang or to Fishermen Village for some action or more versatile cuisine options.
Hotel Feature Tip : Beach is limited and the area lacks services, best thing is service in the hotel and good access to snorkling, diving or to both sides of the island with a moped or a car.

Nice accommodation & location Had a plesant stay at this resort. Nice accommodation and decor. The resort has been well landscaped and there is running water and fish everywhere. It is positioned right on the beach as is the restaurant, which made evening dining quite special. Had booked for 3 nights with one free night added. Double checked our checkout date with reception on second day. However on fourth day they were expecting us to check out and made me pay for forth nights accommodation as they said they had deducted the discount 4th night off the price of the other three. Was not happy with this as I had already confirmed the check out date with them.

Staff is very accommodating and hospitable. Location is near convenience stores, pharmacy, diving/travel store and a car/motorcycle rental. Lighting at dinner time is very romantic. The place is quiet even with rooms near the street. Deluxe room had problems with water clarity and pressure. They say a new water pump/filter was installed and clear water will take a few days. Deluxe room is also very hot during the day so close the curtains facing the street. Beach area is small but that is expected for Bophut area. Hotel food was expensive relative to outside restaurants. Breakfast is edible and filling but could improve on quality. The resort was kind enough to upgrade us to a villa and that solved the water pressure problem. Water was clear on the third day. I suggest spending the extra money on the villa for better quality rooms. We rented a car for THB 1200/day which can be done at the hotel or across the street.

Nice rooms, great view and friendly staff Beach isn't the best. Restaurant is expensive for what you get. Not the best location on Samui. Nice, clean hotel. There are better locations on Samui particularly if you are looking for a great beach.

- Very kind staff.
- Clean rooms.
- Nice pool.
- Good location (maybe not for beach, see review) - Near airport (airplane noise. Luckily in the night there are no flights).
- Breakfast could be better, however good.
- The beach??? Very good location because it is quite but in about 5-20min by motorbyke you can to reach the most famous "nightlife sites" in the island, where it's no easy to sleep.
We were disappointed about the beach: many guides say "budda beach the best"... we don't agree.
In August (at least) the beach is not good. Or better, the water is dirty (gasoline and little plastic pieces everywhere). Maybe in other periods...

the hotel is a reasonable good value for money. location is convinent for taxi access. good taxi availability as it is on main rood. very very bad service from staff. cleliness is reasonable ok. staff are very bad and dont care about the demands of customer. the ac was hitting the face and the swing does not work. this made it uncomfortable. the bathroom shower does not work. you get burning hot water or cold water sudenly. even arter complaining no action was taken. room cleaning was not done even after requesting. bad experiance.

cute rooms, nice decor, comfy. internet didn't work, resturant food too pricey, We had one night to stay at in Koh Samui before heading over to another island. So we stayed close to the airport. The choice was made based on many other opinions we read about and th epictures as well. We both have traveled all over the world and expected much more from all the positive reviews we read. It wasn't a terrible place, we just expected more. Next time we would stay in the Chwang beach area. More to do at day/night and easy walks to them all. Cab would still be 15-20 min to airport.
Restaurant Tip : If you stay here jus tgo to dinner across the street and to the left. Much less money and much better tasting food.

Cool unique location. Friendly Staff that's super helpful. Can be a little noisy at night. We arrived for one night. Immediately served some refreshing cocktail. The receptionist was extremely helpful. Offered some free DVDs. There's a nearby breakfast place across the road that's extremely delicious. They make great cocktails by the pool too!
Restaurant Tip : Try the breakfast congee that's cheap and yummy across the road!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Rent a scooter cheaply to get to the more active parts of the island. Otherwise, expect to pay a lot for taxi or van service.

Koh Samui is such a small island. It makes more sense for one to hire a moped and travel around the island as the map is very easy to follow.
