The location is about 10 minutes from Chaweng Beach and the airport, but an awesome/quiet location right on Choengmon Beach. Also, pool and private beach are incredible

Service was below average for such a wonderful property. Also, with the numerous changes in ownership, there are many things that need updated but haven't been done...pooldeck is a disgrace with nails sticking up all over, out-dated fitness center, bathrooms in hotel rooms are very dated.

Overall, my wife and I had a great time at this location for the 3 days we were in Koh Samui. If you are looking to get away from the craziness of Chaweng Beach, Choengmon Beach area is the place. The property itelf was incredible, infinity pool overlooking the cove and sea...and a quick walk via the beach to about 10 different bars/restaurants right on the water. Great area if only staying for a few days and nights. Service was sub-par than what would be expected at a resort that looks and feels this nice. Staff were impolite on numerous occasions and nickle and dime you for everything possible to the point where it is noticeably annoying. Also, since the ownership has changed numerous times, no one has upgraded certain things like the bathrooms, applicances and pool deck...I would normally not notice this stuff, but it is all about 25 years old and hardly functioning. For example, every night a lizard snuck into our bathroom behind the mirror where there was a huge hole as it was falling out of the wall. Overall, a great value for the money and breath-taking views, but we'd probably try somewhere else next time.

Restaurant Tip : Only about 7 places on Choengmon beach which are accesible by walking, otherwise a cab or transportation is always needed to get into Chaweng...but for a few nights, there are enough good places on Choengmon to eat and drink...right on the water and quiet...great spots.

--The rooms are clean, gorgeous, quiet, and comfortable. --The grounds are beautifully landscaped. --There is a travel agency near the lobby so it is not too difficult to make travel arrangements or excursions, but we found the travel agencies just down the road we cheaper by half. --The breakfast was very good. --The staff are excellent and sociable. --The swimming pool is beautiful, but it is kind of small, but there are two swimming pools--one behind the lobby overlooking the sea and the other at the top of the hill near the deluxe and superior rooms.

--The hotel is situated on a cliff/hill top so there is a bit of walking uphill. Most of the deluxe and superior rooms are located at the top of the hill and it was pretty steep, but occasionally one of the staff will ride up the hill in a golf cart and you can hitch a ride. --The beach isn't as good as others on the island because it is a bit rocky once you get into the water, but it is still very scenic and beautiful, and there are less people on this beach. This beach is best for water sports, I would say, and it is easy to find sports vehicles to rent. --The hotel is about half a mile away from the main road where you can find restaurants and stores.

We stayed three nights at the Q Signature and we very satisfied. The hotel is beautiful and the view from behind the lobby is gorgeous. Choeng Beach was a nice change since it isn't as crowded as Chaweng Beach. There are a lot of stairs to get to the beach and it is a steep climb back to the deluxe and superior rooms since they are at the top of the hill.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : It is much cheaper to book a tour or rental car from the main street below the hotel.

Quiet location outside of Chawang Beach area - friendly and helpful staff

A bit challenging to get transportation into Chawang Beach area (nightlife area of island)

Hotel is about 7km outside of main city area of Koa Samui. Resort is a combination of timeshare villas and hotel style rooms. Best deals for rooms are a fair distance up a massive hill from main dining, pool and beach area. This stated, there is a constant shuttle of golf carts providing guests with free rides to your room - honestly, the service is terrific. I never waiting more than 1 min to get a lift to my room. The service was much like using an elevator in a regular building. The newly built rooms are beautiful and well appointed. The views are stunning and the grounds are paradise.

Shopping Tip : If you want clothes made, go to K.S. Paul's Fashion located on the main road in Chawang Beach.

Top class hotel and service, private beach, good gym with air con, breakfast is sublime

Steep hill the hotel is built on but they provide golf carts to your room if thats a problem

6th time i stayed here under various names. The Choeng Mon area is much quieter than Chaweng but its quiet when you want to sleep too. I love the service here, and especially the great food at breakfast. On occasions you can have the beach to yourself and there isn't the same problem with hawkers bothering you. First class gym and what a view!Highly recommended

Hotel Feature Tip : Ask the chef to make you an omlette for breakfast, use the gym , go to the happy hour at 5pm for drinks and sunset watching and get the longer internet password - it works out much cheaper

The views were fantastic and the beach was very quiet. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The only con is the 400 baht trip to the airport.

The Q Signature was a wonderful place to stay in Koh Samui. The views were fantastic and the beach was very quiet. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was very spacious and clean. The happy hours änd food deals helped with our budget. If you need your clothes washed, there is an economical place just a short walk from the entrance. We had a great relaxing time here.

location - at the end of a very beautiful beach atmosphere - nice and quiet

- a bit far from the fun area but the hotel offers regular trips to the center of the town - the walls of the standard rooms were thin enough to hear every noise from next door

we stayed at Q signature at the beginning of the year for 9 days. It is a lovely resort with friendly staff. the resort is build on a hill which makes it even more interesting. Almost all the rooms are facing the ocean. The room we were in was a standard one and it was in a 2 story building. To reach the building a golf cart was at our service whenever we decided to skip the 3 minunte walk (up hill) from the reception. The only thing which was not ok was the poor construction of the walls which practically did not stop any noises from the room next door. The resort provides regular free trips to the center of Chewang town which is very convinient. The are regular trips almost all day every 2 hours. The food was good and even when we ordered in we found some specialities that we enjoyed. Over all it was a plesant stay and we would return to this resort any time.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : rent a car and take a day around the island as there are nice places to see. the hotel can arrange it for you without any hassle.

1)very good chef, very delicious thai food. 2)very clean n big room, housekeeping very efficient ,if u need something , they will come over withn 10 mins. 3)very helpful n cheerful staff, whatever u asked about the tour , spa etc. they will give u full information and suggestion. 4)very quiet place, can't even hear ppl yelling and just only peaceful sound which make u always felt comfortable. 5)they provided free shuttle toward chaweng area so u can enjoy crowded n peaceful area as u like.

1)the spa was not that good as i expected. and difficult to make appointment. 2)should provide more telephone in the room ,cos it's only got one in the big room. 3)big room but only small tv , around 21 inches , what a big different ..

after i have stayed this 5 star hotel , i really felt what is 5 star, they have provided efficiency services and very good food, u don't even think where u need to go out to eat , u can stayed at the resort with the sun shine for whole day , it's made u can relax and enjoyable there . i enjoy so much ..

All meals were designed immaculately by international and Thai chefs. Staff were very friendly and multi-lingual. Pool bar had great drink specials.

Shuttle service was never ontime and at one point never showed up, this put a dampener on our stay. The room was missing some basic amenities.

We checked in around 7pm after a very long day of traveling, the staff were very understanding and assisted us with our bags, We then joined the buffet dinner for around 650 baht each. Meals were the best part of the hotel, there was lots of choice and they were cooked appropriately for the dish. We had dinner twice and breakfast 3 times. The room was very comfortable with air con, and tv. The only disappointment was there was no dvd player and to hire through hotel would have been 1000 baht too expensive! internet was also very expensive. The shuttle service was very sloppy and we complained about the basic room amenities on several occasions and nothing was done. It defiantly felt like a 5 star resort but a few customer comments should be listened to improve their guests stay. However the spa was immaculate and we would stay again if we were looking at spending that amount of money.

Shopping Tip : Everything around hotel is very expensive, town is approximatly 16kms so make sure you purchase your tea and coffee etc before hand because taxi can be up to 400 baht to local shops.

very nice hotel and staff were exceptional at servicing my needs

booked a deluxe plus room and ended up in the last building of the complex when hotel was 50% empty. when you need to go someplace cost of hotel transportation is 100% higher than anyone else. Food designed for north american tastes and not Thia. Definately new owners from past and it is showing in the levels of serivce etc. offered

As we booked in as a honeymoon couple - the hotel surprised us by leaving a chilled bottle of french champagne and glasses for us to enjoy. Nothing better than drinking champagne whilst in the pool looking at the magnificent view over the ocean. Buffet breakfast was fantastic everyday (with most dishes changing each day). It was cheaper to have the hotel drive us to the airport than getting a taxi. The airport taxi service is a set price rip-off of 500 Baht from airport to hotel and 400 Baht from hotel to airport (using hotel car). Price comparison - hire a Jeep (700 Baht per day with TA Travel - go direct as it will be 1,000 Baht through hotel for the same car). Taxi's are expensive in Koh Samui (hotel does provide day-time free transport). Chewang Beach - will test your sanity. Not somewhere we wanted to spend any time whatsoever. But if you do visit a must-do dinner is at Zico's Brazillian Grill & Bar. Fantastic show, food and buffet concept.

Restaurant Tip : Stay in one night and eat at the restaurant - fantastic food. It was so good we ate there 2 nights out of 5. Zico's in Chaweng Beach is also worth a night out - could not fault the food, service or entertainment.
