The price is very reaonsable, and the staff are very friendly

No shuttle bus to Chewang beach

The rooms are very beautiful, and the feeling is like staying at a villa. The swimming pool is not very big, but has a view of the sea. The hotel provides shuttle bus service to Lamai beach, which is quite convenient; however, the shuttle bus service is available between 9-6pm only. The staff is very friendly, and they helped us to book the tours and find a cheaper rate for taxi.

The view to go for. Guest Rating: 7.3

Great view,friendly staff.

200 steps to the lobby is not my cup of tea.But if you can wait the hotel provides the ride up or down.

Good location for those prefer staying away from the crowd, yet still easy to get to Chawaeng beach. The pool is lovely with stunning view of the ocean as the background,or walk down the steps to enjoy the sea,you can sit on the rock and let the sea taken the stress away.

the hotel is set in such natural beauty. The view of the ocean and the cliff is amazing

*There is no beach at this hotel, only rocks. So it is not swimmable *It is quite a distance from Chaweng (in Ko Samui terms) and there were so many other nicer places nearer to Chaweng with swimmable beaches. *Getting to the reception or restaurant is a gruelling hike *Figuring out the lighting switches is not for the feint hearted.

We arrived at samui cliff view sometime in the afternoon on the 13th Aug and stayed there for 3 nights. The first thing that struck us was the incline the hotel was perched on. Climbing up to the reception from our room was quite a treck. In fact we went kyaking in the ocean the day before and that didnt leave me as breathless as the climb up to the reception. If you stay in the beach front villas though they send you a cart to pick you up from your room so the treck isn't so bad. The design of the rooms are far from intuitive. It is quite ordinary for you to walk up to the bathroom mirror and find that the mirror light switch is benhind the bed back in the room! The safe is operated with a key and the key is attached to the room key. So if you open your safe, it means you have to take the room key out of it's slot (that powers the room) and if you dont finish with the safe and return the key whithin 30 seconds or so you will be left in total darkness sitting in front of your open safe! The view from our room was gorgeous but we didnt get to enjoy it for long as we had something planned for the afternoon and only returned to the hotel at 11pm that night. Upon arrival we noticed that the lighting in the rooms in general is very dim We had a problem with our air conditioning on the first night and couldnt sleep as the room was like a sauna. When we couldnt take it any longer we went to the reception at 6:45 in the morning to complain, and were told that we would still have to pay for that sleepless night because we failed to inform them in the middle of the night! Apparently they have the 24hr service team to fix aircons (perhapse this is a common complaint?) and failure to inform them of your prombem even if it occurs in the middle of the night leads to you having to pay for that agonizing night. When the manager told us this we lost it and told her that we would be happy to go back home and write a stinker about their hotel on tripadvisor. Also we got the disti

Travel tip : *Find another hotel. There are so many nicer ones on the way to Samui Cliff view (Eg: Impiana with it's fantastic spa) *Check the aircon as soon as you check in *Try to get a room with easy access to the cart *Hang on tight while travelling in the cart lest you should fall out- the incline is very steep! *Try the spa at 'Tamarind Springs' (which is quite close by). It is fantastic!
