Right on the beach.
Quiet location.
Very helpful staff.
There were 3 swimming pools. The 2 largest were too deep for non-swimmers and the other had a funny sewerage smell.
A very dangerous shower over a sunken bath that is difficult to get in and out of if you are of mature years.
A bit old and tired, needs renovating.
I had booked the cheapest room on the Internet, but because the driver didn't pick me up from the airport I got an upgrade to a lovely villa six steps from the sandy beach. Sitting out on the patio with friends every night was wonderful. This hotel appears to be one of the first along Bophut Beach and is now a little bit old and tired and in need of a facelift. They say in their advertising that they do the catering for Bangkok Airways. If you have eaten this airline's food, I would not advertise the fact. The hotel is in fact, owned by Bangkok Airways.
Travel tip : There are some very good masseurs right on the beach and they will come to your villa for a manicure and pedicure. All for a very nominal amount.

Right on the beach. Area not too touristy. Staff are very pleasant. Great pool
Food choice is limited in low season. Very quiet. not for you if you are looking for lively night life
This is the ideal place if you are looking for a relaxed, chilled place to stay. The hotel is right on the beach. It also has 2 lovely pools with plenty of sun beds. The hotel sits in its own gardens with mature trees, which attract birds and butterflies. The rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed. The staff are friendly and pleasant. The hotel also has massage facilities. Breakfast is plentiful. There are several restaurants although at low season only one was open. This included a terrace overlooking the sea. The hotel also has a shuttle bus which takes you to the nearest town if you want a bit more animation.
Travel tip : Arrange to be picked up at the airport. The taxi service available at the airport costs more than twice what the hotel will charge you

Even if the hotel is very big it atmosphere is fine and the facilities are just few minutes walk. It wasn't crowded and most of the time we had the huge pool entirely for ourselves. Room service and cleanless top quality.
Bophut beach is calm and sandy but not as clear as Lamai - after 2/3 meters from the coast is very muddy. Anyhow if you love tranquillity this is the best place for you. The pool are beautiful.
Breakfast is superb, expecially the fruit selection. Even the restaurants in the evening is fine but with the Fishermen village nearby, you can choose a lot of spots to visit. Good for couples and families. Lovely at night the lauch of the firebaloons.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Don't miss the ko tao snorkeling tour and a massage on the beach. Thai dessert at the hotel restaurant worth also a try.
