Nice hotel, best beach and close to the action

Stayed here before and very nice hotel although beginning to need a bit more attention. Pool was bit dirty feeling, fitness suite not great and few areas needed some Tlc. However, is situated on the best part of the best beach on Samui, near to all the action and we were upgraded to a pool access room as returning customers.

The hotel was modern, no free in room internet (only free internet in reception food area). The english of the staff was basic (most of the time I dont think they understood me).

Great place on quiet end of Chaweng beach

The staff were great, very fast attentive. The location is at the south end of the beach which is cleaner and quieter than other areas. If you want to go out its a 10 minute taxi ride to the main eating/entertainment area.

Poor service. We arrived at 9:30am and left our bags, explaining that we flew overnight so would like to check in as soon as possible. When we went back at 2pm (advertised check in time) were were told our room wasn't ready and it would be another 50minutes. We were offered an upgrade at 50% off the cost of upgrade which is unacceptable. We didn't check in until 315pm, by then our opinion of the service and hotel was very negative
