lack of maintenance at the pool, and at the restaurant, not friendly staff, lack of english at first we came we have been told to change room after the first night, the second room had problem with the shower, we told the staff several time to fix it but they didn't understand us and didn't find the problem.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : the hotel located 3 minutes from lamai beach and 10 minutes from chaweng.

- great room & bathroom - The pool needs to be renovated as it is a bit dangerous ( planned for November 2009) We had a wonderful stay! We stayed almost 4 weeks and we did not regret not to move hotel! We traveled with our 19 months old baby and it was just perfect! True; the hotel could use a bit of renovations but in general it is worth every penny! the room is spacious, the baby bed was big and comfy! The staff was just lovely! A little bit layed back but very helpfull and attentionate!
the swimming pool hadn't been renovated yet so we just had to be a bit carefull with our baby running around but nothing to truly worry about! The beach is breath taking, clean and very quiet! Eventhough it was supposed to be the rainng season, we had a wonderful weather with only a bit of rain mostly in the evening! We will definitly go back there again!!!
The food in the restaurant is simple but lovely and with big portions!
Restaurant Tip : The restaurant held by Klang and Noon next to the hotel is just DELICIOUS!!! We recommend the Pad thai and the shrimp cakes! We ate there almost every night! They are just wonderfully sweet people! When you leave the hotel, it is 100m on the left. You just need to be a bit carefull walking on the side of the road! There is a 7/11 about 500m from the hotel on the left hand side!

The beachfront bungalows are really nice located: just a few steps away from the real beach. All bungalows are the same except for their distance to the beach. So even the cheaper bungalows are worthwile. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The maintenance level of the bungolows is different from what you can expect according to european standards. So don't mind lesser details as broken windows, a rusty bathtop, dirty curtains
and rusted chairs on the patio. We decided to stay a second time in Samui Yacht Club because of the friendly atmosfere and the beachfront bungalows. In spite of not everything being in functioning order in the room, we still do like the place very much. Just enjoy the differences in the way the hotelmanagement is looking after their hotel. If you have troubles adjusting to a different level of maintenance to which you are used in Europe, don't go there. But if you can enjoy hospitality and kindness and staying at a lovely small and quiet beach: then this is the perfect place to be!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You are near Lamai and Chaweng, both bigger villages on the island. So their is enough choice of nightlife, dining out, shopping. You can combine this quiet hotel with a busy and dazzling city life

Quiet location between Chaweng & Lamai Beachs - restraunt service was extremely slow and food was not that good Hotel location was in a very quiet location away from the hustle & bustle of Chaweng & lamai Beaches. Hotel staff were not that friendly and accomodating as other hotels we visited throughout our travels of thailand.
Don't expect very fast service from the restraunt as customer service is far from acceptable from our perspective.

Comfortable The hotel is outdated.
Location The hotel is on the beach front, which is only shared by 2 other hotels. There was no hawkers on the beach which made it much easier to relax. There was a free shuttle bus to Chaweng beach that left at 11am and returned at 4pm.
The rooms themselves were very spacious and comfortable, my room had some issues with hot water, but it's not really a big deal when it's hot outside.
There's free internet for half an hour per day, per room.
The hotel restaurant isn't great if you don't want traditional thai food. There's a great local restaurant just down the beach from the hotel though.
I travelled with 4 people in total, around 21 years old, and the hotel isn't in the best spot for partying. But if you want to go into Chaweng you can get a taxi for about 200baht or get one of the converted ute things which are cheaper.
Nightlife Tip : Go to the green mango in Chaweng beach, there's also a really cool norwegian rock bar in one of the streets off chaweng beach.
If you plan on going to a half/full moon party on Koh Phangnan... there are company's that will offer to take you there by boat and then have boats returning at 4am, 5am and 6am. We went to catch the 5am boat back to Koh Samui but they wouldn't leave until 6am and there wasn't a 4am boat either. But other than the frustration of wasting an hour it's good if you want to stay back on koh Samui.

On the beautiful peaceful beach!!Close to good resturant off the hotel property. front desk staff not interested in helping guests, more interested in smoking in the back room......internet did not work regularly. Nice place for the price. Would be better if they hired front desk staff that were interested in the client. Felt like a bother when I asked about anything. The food in the resturant was awful. Many better places just up the road.
Travel tip : Rent you scooter from the resturant just left out of the hotel driveway and up hill in a 3 minute walk.

Very good breakfast every day is different, and very rich! Cabin in very good facilities, bath super beautiful! And rats were the voices of the evening but there are a very patient staff to search for our very satisfied with their services Very close to here from the beach, 1-2 minutes walk to a hut, the view outside the room is also very beautiful, very friendly staff. Directly on the beach, very quiet beautiful facility designed Service totally ok, but not first class in terms of attention Special Tip: Be sure the option to book Garden View with private garden and a private Jacuzzi, a dream and is absolutely worth the money, increases the Wohnwert the house a lot.

Small hotel with nice well maintained cabins. Lovely quiet little beach, you can hear a pin drop to the sand. Right place if we are to really relax. the perfect place to start our holiday. Wonderful peace and order, with very friendly and helpful staff. Fine cottages, felt fine on Monday a "bounty Island" with all the palm trees and flowers. Perfect little beach with excellent snorkeling opportunities directly from the beach. We come back here \u0026lt;: 0) when the city man with a small tour of tuk tuk, approximately. 10 minutes is inside where it goes away, you only grocery takes approx. 5 minutes to go. There is Landry Service 2 minutes away from the main road.
Travel tip : A really good place to live if you want to live in peaceful surroundings that are not very far if you want to the city where there is plenty of life.
