We spend 5 days in November, the hotel was almost empty and it was the perfect choice. Close to the beach (not the best ones of the island).Rooms are big and very comfortable, service was great.
Restaurant Tip:
Sunshine Gourmet, 2 mins walking from the hotel is really wonderful restaurant, amazing food, good price and very kind staff, once you go you will eat always there !

A friendly place
Nice rooms and a very helpful staff
3.3
The resort is on Chaweng Beach. Everything was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant in the resort was the best one of four places i tested.

Quiet, friendly, a lovely retreat
Helpful accomodating staff, quiet serene location
9.7
Many resorts on Samui are smack bang in the nightlife and on busy beaches with loads of bars. This is NOT, and is much the better for it. An eco-lodge style property with private villas for every customer, this is ideal for anyone who wants to spend most of their time in their own company but meet a few like minded friends over dinner and breakfast. It sits right next to Mae Nam Temple and feels much like a temple itself. The staff remember what you ask for and the next day you dont have to ask again - just the way it should be. If there were a few more activities going on this would be just about perfect.

the beautiful landscape at Saree Samui and Maenam
the rooms are great, luxury bungalows, great architecture. The resort is very spread out, lovely gardens and infinity edge pool
9
The layout of the resort is one of the best on Samui, they have a huge beach front with a long infinity edge pool that overlooks the calm and beautiful beach of Mae Nam. The views over ko phangan are amazing and the sea is always calm being out of the main currents.
the rooms are beautifully designed and well equipped with high tech gadgets (no flat TV but bose sound system). the furniture is a good mix of lounge oriental comfort.
Hotel Feature Tip:
try and get a room in the front, slightly more expensive but the outdoor patio in the rooms can open out and you get the most amazing views

saree samui, great place to stay; enjoy !!!
own private villa with outside bathtube; have a bath looking the sky and earing the sound of tropical birds; nice room, very large, clean and intimate room; for cocooning with your love or in family; staff excellent and friendly; beach quite and so beautifull; massage in front of the beach
9.3
excellent place de stay night and day and spend a lot of time
quite; swimmingpool excellent in front of the beach and not with the blue color like the other one. all in harmony, colors, vegetals, plants... u could have a massage for a small price on the beachfront and just have rest with the sound of the wave.
sea clean but not very clear; look at the sunrise in the morning; in front of you, a beautifull view of koh pha ngan.
small restaurants close to the beach. but the place have a price, u need a car or use taximeter at the lompraya pier not far from the hotel (500 meters).
excellent if u looking for quiet place; no dancing, not noisy; just perfect

Quiet seclusion
Fabulous room outdoor bathtub, nice beach
8.3
We stayed here in June 2010 and the occupancy was very low so the hotel was quiet. We were the only ones in the restaurant one night! But service was very good, the restaurant is on a romantic beach, the infinity pool is wonderful, and if you want quiet, this is it. We stayed a few nights and then went to Chaweng area for more shopping and nightlife - a nice combination if you want to move around Samui.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Nice place to honeymoon or relax

Saree Samui
Clean with Quiet location
Good beach
Great restaurant
Lovely staff
9.3
My wife and I stayed here for only 1 night but we found the staff very friendly and helpful. We where delighted to find a cook to order chef available at breakfast.
We booked a pool villa which was clean and comfortable although the pool was difficult to get in and out of as the water level was rather low.
We would recommend this hotel but we where glad we had not paid the hotels advertised rate as we would have been disappointed.
Restaurant Tip:
Johns Garden Restaurant which you pass on the road down to the hotel served great food and was very reasonable.

After wondering where on earth we were going to we were pleasantly surprised to find Saree Samui tucked away on the best beach we had encountered in our travels. The staff were pleasant and helpful and being the low season we found ourselves alone in the pool on many occasions. Short walk to the main road and a tuktuk was always there to take you to the surrounding areas , fishermans village well worth a look. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance as well at very reasonable prices.
Outside bathroom great feature!
Hotel Feature Tip:
No need for the private pool room, the main pool outstanding.

Perfect infinity pool
the infinity pool is the most amazing feature, the rooms - outdoor shower, big beds, good air con, 4 complimentary bottles of water a day.
7
The infinity pool streaches across the front of the resort along the quiet beach of Maenam and gives the most picturesque view you could ask for!The rooms are lovely, closed in to give privacy with a small garden (or pools in some) patio area and fab outdoor bathroom. It is right next door to a temple which has a fair over easter - a must cultural see! Service in the restaurant was poor but there are lots of other eating places you can frequent to avoid this
Hotel Feature Tip:
the massages through the resort are AMAZING and worth every baht - the price on the list in the room is full price and we got 50% discount every time. Don't miss out!

this would be awesome with a boyfriend
outdoor bathtub! very spacious villas
selection of dvds at front counter to watch
infinity pool is beautiful
beach infront of resort is clean and nice
6.7
i was really happy overall with my stay, the villas are gorgeous and really well designed. the bathrooms are the nicest ones i have been in for a long time, and i really enjoyed the bathtub. they feel very private and have a lot of space.
i was a bit bored though, and this place is the perfect getaway if you have a lover to share it with.
the breakfast was good, the pool, the beach, and the landscaping.
i was a bit dissapointed with the level of service, it was not 4 star service... but its thailand i guess, cant be too fussy :)
there was a nice sound system in the room with a cd to play on it...which i thought was a nice touch. good minibar (but no food in it) an electric jug to make tea and a nice selection of cups and glasses to use.
overall, very happy, but next time i will endevour to have a companion.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
its not really an 'attraction' but the lompryah pier is literally 200 metres walk along the beach from the resort, a catamarang that will take you to koh phangan or koh tao, neighbouring islands. times of departure, 8am, 12.30pm and 5.30pm.
