Couldn't have been better!

We loved our stay at Sareeraya! We could not fault the hotel at all. The room was beautiful, with amazing beach views, and the bathroom having a large window so you can still see the beach view whilst having a bath! The decor of the hotel had a javanese feel to it, which was nice. Nearly all the staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast each morning had such an extensive variety, and the quality was there! Really looked forward to the breakfast every day we woke up. The pool was nice, with a bar built into the pool, which we enjoyed a few times! The beach at the back of the hotel was maintained daily by the staff, and was clean. Chaweng beach itself has soft white sand, and the water was clean enough. Looovveddd this hotel, and before leaving was already talking about coming back!

We enjoyed our stay very much! Friendly staff and good breakfast. Restaurant pricey but alot of options in town or on the beach.
A bit dissapointed in our view, and woke up the next morning with hammering and construction, we asked if we could move and they helped us with a smile. THe Jacuzzi suite is a lovely room with everything nice and we enjoyed the jacuzzi very much!
We had a bit of a problem..100 dollar note dissapeared from my handbag...we didnt say anything because I felt responsible leaving my handbag in the room! Hours later the reception lady said out of the blue that the cleaner said we must put our things in the safe?! Guilty conscious??!
Will go back..just put you things in the safe.
Shopping Tip:
Go and dine just next door on the beach. Cocktails 90 baht and they are lovely! Go into town and book excursions there, hotel prices are steep the same with the spa, so much nice places in town, we enjoyed the high class spa very much!

the place to take your girlfriend/partner for a romantic getaway, or for those just wanting to be pampered. have never stayed in a room so well equipped. having my own pool was definitely a plus and something i wouldn't normally have gone for, but it was a free upgrade for some reason. couldn't fault the hotel at all. easy walking distance into town for the bars and restaurants.

Upgraded free to Pool Suite. Amazing room with Jacuzzi 2 Showers indoor/outdoor, Spa /private pool. Staff at the Bar are excellent and make a good cocktail. The Food is really nice and the free breakfast was large and fresh. overall a real treat!!

We stay in sareeraya the first day we arrived samui,we didn't stay longer!change another resort the very next morning .the room is big but we don't feel good as room is very dark. And a lot of mosquito at room even we always keep closed door. in north chawen beach, a bit far to walk to main area
Nightlife Tip:
Pls take a care when you buy drinks at bar or club, drinks is pretty cheap but remember to check the change what you got, we pay 1000 to buy a beer only get 30 change back

Highly Professional Hotel - Great Value

I have stayed with my family (myself, hubby, 4 year old and 6 month old) in Sareeraya for 10 days.
The suites with jacuzzi are very lovely, lots of space. Baby cot was provided and my 4 year old was using the room sofa. The room had all the necessary facilities to make you feel comfortable. There is strong rainshower and a bathtub. Lots of place to store your things - closet, drawers.
The stuff is highly professional with good english and great attitute. Every issue was solved promptly without hesitation.
The infinity pool is fantastic. It may seem rather small in the pictures, but it is quite large and is enough even for a good exercise swim. The sunbeds inside the infinity pool are the best! They are so comfortable and the location of the chairs is perfect. You have the infinity view, the pool bar is right there and there is a constant sound of waterfall. And let's not forget the gorgeous palm trees. Amazing experience.
Breakfast buffet is nice with the omlette counter where they make all kind of other things like waffles (with icecream), pancakes with banana french toasts etc. Everything is very tasty.
You can request regular coffee or ask for capucino or latte free of charge.
Being with two kids, expecially with 6 month old, I felt very welcomed and the stuff always smiled and tried to help as much as possible.
We used the babysitting services once for the total of 4 hours. The babysitter name is Ann and she was very lovely. Took a good care of the kids :)
The hotel lacks night entertainment. I wish they had a bit more of music, live band and maybe even a bit of dancing. On the other hand, the location of the hotel cannot be better. You are right in the heart of the main street. 2 minutes walk and you have all the entertainment possible - restaurants, laundry 40 baht per 1 kg, bars and disco clubs. Whatever your heart desires.
Overall, a great hotel
Travel tip:
I suggest going for jacuzzi room on the third flood. The view is amazing.

hotel was excellent. staff were incredibly helpful. rooms were kept very clean (note that due to the climate our room was very damp and all our clothes were damp as a result). pool bar area was great. they should make much more of the red read bar - a lovely area but with no atmosphere or regular staff on hand. drinks and food were quite expensive - but food of an excellent standard.
Restaurant Tip:
Go to the Rock Pool restaurant (10 mins outside of Chaweng by taxi). The best outside dining experience (pricey - but worth it).

We met up with three other couples at the hotel for a long awaited holiday. The hotel was really gorgeous with lovely views of the ocean from the lovely infinity pool.
We stayed in a normal suite and it was really nice. The room and bathroom were huge and nicely decorated with a big wetroom and bath and lovely daybed on the balcony.
Breakfast each morning is eaten in the restaurant next to the beach and the array of food is wonderful. Eggs are prepared for you any way you like them and delivered to your table by incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The pool is divine and the hotel is small enough that it never feels overrrun or impersonal. We ate lunch often at the hotel and the food quality is great. The beach is also lovely and its cleaned every day by some very helpful staff member so views out to see are really nice.
Definitely worth staying there, we had a great holiday.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you are travelling as a group, hire a private catamaran for the day - we paid about $700AUD for a full day sailing with lunch. It was wonderful and because we were in a group of 8 it was really affordable. Also, go on an elephant ride - I wasnt convinced but it was awesome.

We stayed at the Sareeraya for 7 nights for our honeymoon and loved it! The location was perfect - the hotel was situated at the quieter end of Chaweng beach away from the hustle and bustle but not too far to walk to the main strip.
Our room was lovely and we got good use out of the jacuzzi. The breakfast included in our package offered a wide variety of choices (american breakfast, thai food, pastries etc) it was delicious.
We ate dinner in the hotel for the first two nights, it was quite pricey so we ventured out and ate on the beach near by or on the main strip.
The hotel staff were very friendly and ensured that all our needs were met.
We had a fantastic time at Sareeraya and will definitely come back.
