Very near to the airport as well as the downtown.

The breakfast wasn't in buffet format which we can see all the tempting foods at once.

All the staffs are very friendly and cheerful. They are also very helpful to fullfill our request and special arrangement. The room is spacious and the bed is huge. The decoration of the hotel give us an ancient city feeling which is very unique for us. In over all, we have a wonderful time staying in this hotel.

The Duplex villa was very nice Very spacious rooms Location was fantastic

The food was not that great Since it was a villa, there were a lot of insects and bugs The beach was not that nice

We originally ended up staying at the Splunge Double Pool room, but we didn't really like the room. There is a pool and an open area in the between, but there is a lot more flies and bugs than expected in between rooms - therefore, we changed our room to a cheaper - Duplex Villa. The Duplex Villa was very spacious and right in front of the pool and it was very nice and spacious. The food at the hotel was not very good, and the breakfast had a very poor selection. Having said that, the location was perfect. It was close enough to the main Chaewong Strip(a five minute walk), but away enough that you were able get some peace and quiet. Also, since we didn't eat at the restaurant in the hotel, there are plenty of nice restaurants in the area. There is a good breakfast next door at the Kandaburi, which we went to a couple of the days.

Great views, great bar with spectacular views of bangkok, spacious room

Bathroom was a bit dull and old looking

The Banyan Tree hotel is situated in a great area of Bangkok, close to the Sky-train station, which gives access to all the major attractions in Bangkok. Vertigo Bar at the Banyan tree offers breathtaking views of the city sky-line, which can be enjoyed while sipping a cocktail. The rooms are well appointed, spacious, and again offer wonderful views of the city. The bathroom while fine, was perhaps a little dated, however, I would certainly recommend this hotel. Breakfast also included a wide range of options and all was deliciously fresh and well made.

Travel tip : The sky-train is only a 15 minute stroll away - and would recommend this instead of taxi's for getting to places in peak hour.

We went for our honeymoon there and it was total awesome experience there, they welcomed us so nicely and our villa was just unreal was just in one word " heaven" but the fact was we were alive creatures. it was beautiful and i dnt know how can speak my mind in words when i think about those lovely days of my vacations @ the briza, and cnt wait to go back again when they willl slash there prices.

the room have lot of space.

Everything seems to be broken in the room. Breakfast in room is bad. Stuff too slow of get thing done.

I guess is a okey hotel if you have a lot of patient and don't expect a good service even know you pay a lot of money for it.All I can say is we will never go back again unless they change the management and train they stuff how to give people good service for what they paid for.Don't get me wrong everybody there are nice with nice smile but that all they have.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : A good massage palce infront of the hotel and resonable price.

Location, In a quiet part of Chaweng beach. With some effort this could be a super holiday resort

Sorry to say but the management of this resort has stopped to do needful maintenance and renovations. Staff seems to be quite new in their roles, missing this superb Thai service and hospitality that we usually are used to have. It is not up to 5 star standard today.

I have mixed feelings of this hotel, once it has been a great place and can be so with a bit of management attention and renovation. When we arrived there were no people in the reception so we did not have the welcome greetings. Our room definitely need renovation, deck around private pool was rotten with holes in it, fungus growing around pool, A lot of lights did not work, and was not fixed even when we asked for it. The hotel has a great beach area, but a lot of sun beds was broken and in poor condition, beach boy was seldom down at the beach. I also don’t understand how the hotel can miss out to have beach service when it comes to food and drinks during the day when they have this great location, a lot of profit must be missed. Also the location of the bar at the hotel is strange, upper floor at the back end of restaurant, no one visited that bar during our stay (to Hotel, move it down to beach area, and you will see that you can start earning profit at the bar also) During our stay they did not have any earning dinner arrangement down at the beach like all other soundings hotels have. During our 5 day stay we did not see any managerial staff at the hotel, maybe they had X-mas leave. Today this hotel is not up to 5 star standard, but can easely be so with some effort from the owners.

Travel tip : Very nice beach

The best feature was the private swimming pool and the lovely view of the sea. The villa was beautiful and the bed very comfy.

I could not think of any cons. I enjoyed the whole resort.

The resort is beautiful and the villa was well thought out. We had a private swimming pool and our own butler, who was wonderful. The food was delicious and the spa therapy truly relaxing.

I loved the hotel. Its a walking distance to the shopping center (chaweng) and another 7 minutes to the airport. I selected a normal pool villa, which was a WOW. Very spacsious, relaxing, clean. The bathroom was really what we define as a "rest room", did really rest there. The beds were very comfy, and the net over the bed was sexy too. I simply loved it

long way to get to the rooms, but the golf cart service was always available at any time and waits for you too :)

I recommend this hotel to all

The Briza is tailored for travelers looking for a relaxing full service experience

Shopping Tip : We found shopping in Koh Samui somewhat more expensive compared to Bangkok although a much cleaner and friendlier location
