Great ambience, especially the Pool view rooms, lobby area and close to night market.
Free internet access with 2 PC's available in the lobby.
The mountain view room I stayed in had chipped concrete floor between bathroom and main room area, it proved to be quite dangerous and injured my feet on it. This needs to be rectified.
The lobby closes at 9pm, one night even earlier and as I wished to use internet this was quite inconvenient. They need front desk to be open later, midnight would be ideal.
The place has a really nice vibe about it, like a little oasis, a great place to just relax during the day and the lobby area has a nice ambience to it, easy to just laze around with a good book and listen to some chilled out music which is played at ear friendly level, so rare in Thailand.
At night there are frogs croaking all around the place.
Its located about 5-10mins out of town but thats the beauty of it, away from the touristy Fishermens village. Even better there is a night market opposite the entrance road to resort, choose some fresh fish that are still flopping around in the market and get one of the hawker stand nearby to barbeque it on the spot....delicious.
This family-run hotel is such a refreshing change from all the bed factories. The staff here were really friendly, but could be more helpful especially in booking tours etc as I wanted to do tour out to Koh Tao so ended up having to organise tour in town through a tour agent.
I stayed in a mountain view room....think miminalist concrete bunker style with Thai timber interiors, the Pool view villas are the way to go and for not much difference in price.
Would stay here again, purely for value for money and the relaxing environment.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hire a scooter for 250baht at hotel and head off around the northeast peninsular, eat at one the beachside restaurants and check out some of the best beaches on Samui.

The rooms were very clean and nicely set out, the staff were helpful and the breakfast was good there to. Its a perfect place for a quiet stay.
The only bad thing is its at the top of a hill and its quite dark to walk up there at nights if your on your own.
great place to stay, id definatly advise it. Even if its just for a night. the rooms are well set out, the pool is really nice and it has basically everything you need so you dont have to leave your hotel. Top place to relax. Its only a 5/10 minute walk to the shops and nice resturants of the fishermans village to.
Restaurant Tip : Head into the fishermans village for nice resturants. Its about 10 miunutes walk away or 150 baht in a taxi. Theres lots of nice places to eat and drink.

we loved it here after coming from HCMC in Vietnam. we were looking for a quiet place where we could get a good nights sleep away from the noise. there are lovely resturants down by the water where you can listen to the ocean as you eat dinner or watch teh nightly fireworks displays. the breakfast is quite a god buffet.

Nice simple breakfast, large clean room, cheap hotel and helpful staff
Nice clean room, the staff were very accomodating. The pool is large and most importantly there is a lovely relaxed atmosphere. I would highly recommend it. Also the hotel is close to town and there are plenty of nice resturants just down the road if you are looking for something a bit different.

Where to start? Such a beautiful hotel, no negative points.
We stayed here for 4 days in a very nice bungalow. The staff was very very nice and the location is one of the most beautiful places on Koh Samui. There are more places of this but most of them are really expensive. I would say, just give this hotel a try and you wont want to leave :)

Small number of rooms, felt like you were often the only people there, very relaxing, dvd's and books available, nice rooms
One lady at the front desk often comes across as quite rude, however the other 2 are lovely.
The bathroom wasn't all that clean when we arrived - I think they should be cleaned a lot more thoroughly.
We stayed at Sundays for 2 weeks, after originally booking 5 days and then extending because we liked it so much. There are poolside rooms, which are obviously by the pool, and these are more like cottages as they are all separate. We stayed in the mountain view room which is a block of 10 rooms and we thought they were great, although I would recommend the pool room if you can. The rooms are decorated in minimalistic style, which is great, we asked for a dvd player and one was brought straight up, which was useful for the afternoon storms. There is a large selection of books and dvd's you can borrow. Breakfast is quite nice - toast, fruit, yoghurt, mini croissants and a coffee machine. Not a huge selection but you can order eggs, bacon, pancakes etc and pay extra - we did this and it was really nice, so well worth the extra if thats what you feel like. You do need to walk down a long dark dirt road to get to the hotel, which was fine for us but maybe not for some - you could always get a cab. We really enjoyed our time there apart from one of the front desk staff sometimes coming across as rude and making us feel a bit unwelcome, the other 2 are absolutely lovely.
There are lots of restuarants in Fishermans Village and just before it, as well there is a food stall in the same street as Sundays and we ate there atleast once a day.

We could hire scooters for us to get around in.
One of our bathrooms was not covered by a roof, so it leaked when it rained. The spa looked like a cave. Breakfast was cold and unappetizing.
Travel tip : Keep your doors and windows closed or you may find an up close and personal encounter with the wildlife.

Spacious rooms, relaxing atmosphere
Fifteen minute walk to town
We had a lovely stay at Sundays. The service (for the most part) was very good, the room was clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable. We arrived late at night and had a tasty meal from the kitchen before it closed. While we thought the menu was quite pricey compared to the mainland, it was actually reasonable compared to Fisherman's Village. We had a nice time on the beaches nearby, but recommend heading to Chaweng for a much nicer beach experience. The only problem that we encountered was that the front desk was WRONG when it came to telling us about the ferry times to Ko Tao. I would double check all ferry times online and make sure that you are being taken to the right dock. The front desk called the taxi for us and we trusted that we were right on time, but we wasted several hours waiting for a ferry because the front desk had the wrong time. Other than that, great stay!
Restaurant Tip : The restaurants on the beach at Fisherman's Village are very expensive. Go to the side roads to get better deals.

Slightly off the beaten track with dogs and building work
A fantastic place to stay. Good value through agoda.com. Lovely natural surroundings and hotel room. Very friendly staff. Near enough to beach and fisherman's village (which is very touristy). Unfortunately, we were chased by dogs who are very territorial around the housing near the hotel during night time. We avoided this by getting a taxi. Unique and enjoyable place to stay in Bophut.
Shopping Tip : Market close to the hotel is much cheaper than the shops

Good, well priced food
Nice decor in rooms
Friendly Staff
Smelly bathrooms
Very far from anywhere else
The Sundays was a decent hotel located only 10 minutes from Samui airport. Food was very good (the Thai curries were excellent) and the bedrooms decorated in a nice minimalist style. However, the bathrooms stank of sewage, and the location was very far from anything else (although this is stated on their website.)
A little over priced, but a decent enough hotel for a short stay.

Nice rooms, lovely pool and garden, good spa, friendly staff.
None, except if you want to be right on the beach.
Sundays was even better than our expectations from the website. The hotel is located in a lovely quiet garden and is only 10 to 15 minutes walk from the beach. The large pool never gets too busy as there are only 20 rooms and breakfast is more than adequate. Their restaurant food is good and reasonably price too. The rooms are very pleasant and carefully arranged so that you are not on top of your neighbors. All in all it is very relaxing, and the traditional Thai massage in the spa was very good too. At this price Sundays is a real bargain.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You can walk to the beach at Bophut in about 15 minutes, and there is a short cut through the wat that you will see when you walk down the hill from the hotel. If you are considering doing a lot of different activities or checking out different beaches while you are there, then you should rent a scooter or a motorbike.

Great swimming pool
Huge Bed
Bathroom - these look amazing on the website but they are not in real life. They are dark and partially open which means mosquitos and other creepy crawles can get it.
If you're over the hustle of Samui and the beach, this place is lovely, nestled 5 min drive from the fishing village and some lovely beaches. even though there were people staying there, it didn't feel like it, and we pretty much had the pool to ourselves - which was lovely. Could do with some real sun loungers and proper towels for the pool.
Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was average.
Hotel Feature Tip : Pool view not mountain room.
