Weekender Resort, Samui

located right on the beach with a beautiful but shallow pool. breakfast was good and restaurant overlooks the pool and beach. located on lamai beach road near many bars and resturants. offer wireless in room internet. I had problems with my shower being either cold or scalding hot and no were in between.

The location on the beach was great. Middle of Lamai Beach, so great walking in either direction. Entrance to hotel right on main road, so close to all the tourist attractions. Staff was friendly and helpful. English language was not a problem. Breakfast was very nice, right on the beach. Hot water was spotty and the internet was not working. 3 different pools to choose from.

Weekender offered great service from the moment i touched down to Koh Samui. The F&B manager doubled up as the driver to pick me up from the airport, and was friendly. The pick up was great too..! Check in was not a problem. Food is good at the hotel. Although there was only one outlet, I was impressed with the quality ! We ate at the hotel most of the time except for dinners when we ventured out to the nearby food stalls. Spent most of the day by the pool (which was very pretty and clean), and it was great as ordering drinks and food was easy. Kudos to having the sleeves for the beer too! Location of Weekender (Lamai) was good in that it was just a 2 minute walk to the main street where there was hawker food and restaurants, pubs, shops, and conveniently - a 7-11. The beach was relatively quiet, and wasn't as noisy as public beaches. Massage by the beach is always great-and I would have gone again and again if not for the other patrons queuing up.. What i enjoyed most was the staff's helpfulness. Although there was one particular waiter which wasn't very nice, the rest were really great so we tipped them when we left. They made us feel at home, and were very approachable and friendly. Overall, great hotel for a first experience in KohSamui. Would consider returning to Weekender on my next visit..!
