We only stayed here for one night, as this was the worst place we have stayed so far, though Agoda.
We moved to a new hotel further along Am Samui Palace!! would recommend
- Travel tip : DO NOT BOOK THE SUPERIOR ROOM, SEE IF THEY HAVE A BETTER ROOM, BUT THEN YOU PAY MORE

The new buliding with the superior rooms are great. 5 of 5. The standard rooms 0 of 5. Do not book. Looks nothing like the pictures on Agoda.

- Restaurant Tip : Good for vegetarians as there is a nice restaurant opposite. Also a good pharmacy selling herbal products nearby.

The hotel is going on to have big renovation and reconstruction during low season now. There will be a brand new restaurant and reception next year. So it is supposed to be a great hotel in one or two years.
- Hotel Feature Tip : We can recommend the tailor shop inside the hotel. Rashid makes good work for good price and is very friendly.

People who are interested in cooking should got to the SITCA (Samui Institure of Thai Culinary Arts - www.sitca.net) in Chaweng. This cooking schools offers very professional service and my cooking class had a lot of fun. When travelling on Samui Island you should take the so called "hailed shared taxi", very cheap (50 - 100 baht) and funny. Another option is renting a moped (approximately 200 baht/day). But watch the traffic!
