Set in the small city of Sukhothai, the hotel is a clean base from which to explore the extensive city ruins. Just next to the Ananada is the Sukhothai Sangkhalok Museum, with an extensive private collection of ceramics dating back to the Sukhothai period. The Old City, a World Heritage Site spread over 70 sqm and The Sukhothai Historical Park are the most popular attractions in the area. Other than these, there are various villages, museums and national parks in and around the city as well. If you like what you see, the hotel includes an antique furniture and ceramics shop. Set a little away from the sites, Ananda Museum Gallery Hotel lets you explore the historic city of Sukhothai without being surrounded by the crowds.

Design hotel with good staff
little bit far from the historical center
Quite design hotel with good staff. Very quiet with a nice lobby as you would be in a museum. Beds are big and nice. There is wi-fi connexion as well which is a big pro. Breakfast buffet is one the best we did in thailand. The hotel is may be a little bit far from the historical center. So a car or a motobirke might be required. But it worth it. Excellent valuefor money

Rooms are clean and well laid out. The staff are very friendly and helpful
The location is a big negative. TV very basic with a poor quality picture and a very poor quality sound. Very few channels available on the TV.Washbasin has no hot water so shaving in morning is a problem.Breakfast mediocre
The location of the Hotel is a major problem. OK for guests with their own private transport.The Television is of a very poor quality, with very few channels, poor picture and sound quality.No hot water in the washbasin so shaving is a problem.Breakfast is mediocre.I would not be keen to stay there again. Only positive was that the staff were very friendly and very helpful.

Comfortable, large rooms, terrific breakfast and eating space, huge bathrooms, excellent decorations, lovely entrances, excellent secured parking, staff friendly, effiecient and attentive but not in your face (the way I like it!), very pretty location.
Quite a long way from town (although a shuttle bus is available ... not free).
This hotel is obviously under-used as there were very few people staying there, and we were there during Loy Kratong. And that's too bad, because it's gem.
Especially enjoyed the museum on the grounds.
