Very comfortable room at reasonable price

Nice quiet place in residential area. Located near center of town. Luke, Poo, and daughter are great hosts. Air conditioner was pretty weak and satisfactory at best. Still very satisfied with the hotel.

Hotel is very hard to find. Parking is extremely limited and recommendation to leave car in vacant lot down the road would be
highly questionable. The hotel is well maintained with a very nice pool. There is no front desk and if you need assistance you need to find the manager somewhere in the hotel or on the grounds. The room was large with very high ceiling which seemed to totally overwhelm the air conditioner and make for a very hot room. Only hotel with WiFi we ever visited where my computer could not connect properly( must be transmitting on some odd frequency). The breakfast was well made and presented but limited in quantity.

the hotel is great value for money! the pool is lovely, the rooms are very clean and the breakfast is good. the beds were pretty hard, but when asked, they put an extra matras. only thing we did not like were the blankets that are such those towel-style once, and lonely planets suggests as if you can dine on top of the hotel (which would be a great location given the view), but thats not true.

Luc was very friendly and informative, and even gave me a lift from the airport. The hotel was spotless, and I really enjoyed the huge shower heads and refreshing swimming pool. The buses to the old city was about 200 meters down the lane, so super convenient.

The Baan George hotel is definitely worth its price!
Its location is quiet and yet it is very close to the town centre and shops and restaurants.
The rooms are spacious and clean, there is a fantastic swimming pool!
The breakfast is good. The free wifi worked very well.
The best about the hotel is its owner who went out of his way to make sure our stay is as good as possible and to help us. He even took us to the bus station in the morning for free!
All in all: definitely worth a visit!
