Owner is very gracious and grows his own yummy mangoes. Procures incredible forest honey too. The grounds are beautiful. He set me up with a driver for the best pre-breakfast tour ever. A great place to base your visit to Sukhothai.

Orchid Hibiscus was quiet, in a beautiful garden with a nice pool. The hotel is a short bike ride to the Historical Park, down a quiet street. Very relaxing setting. The breakfast was great. Highly recommend this place. Note that if you need internet while there, you have to buy wifi by the hour.

Delightful, relaxing, comfortable accommodations in bungalows with a very good breakfast on site each morning, bike rentals across the road. Pool was great for cooling off any time after seeing the ruins. About a 10 minute taxi ride from New City bus station. Staff was great about calling for taxis. Very modest price for a lovely, relaxing stay. Good coffee in the morning and cold beer available all day. Massage on site for about $6 dollars an hour. Interesting landscaping and birds in aviary.

Good, we enjoyed the pool and the garden. We booked a thai massage through the Guest House which was excellent. the owner, Paulo was very helpful about what to visit and when in Sukhothai. His 'amazing' breakfast did not live up to it's name!
We appreciated being able to hire bikes across the road. The hotel was good value.

Relaxing, quiet & eccentric
The gardens, the wonderfully eccentric proprietor and the aviary on the grounds

Wonderfully relaxing. The grounds are beautiful with myriad little nooks and crannies for resting from the Sukhothai sun. The aviary is great and the enormous collection of garden furniture and knick-knack's never failed to bring a smile. The bungalows are spacious and the air-con is good.
Overall quite enjoyable if ultimately a little dull. There is no on-site restaurant for dinner or a full-sized breakfast and evening shut-down seems to happen very early.
But the major failing for me is the maddening system for the WiFi which is based on 60-minute vouchers. If you need to stay connected, this is hopeless.

It was alright. I expected more from the breakfast. There might be amazing honey and a honeycomb, but all you get with it is a bananna and toast and a coconut pudding. Personally I need some fruit and vegetable, maybe a nicely cooked omelot, Buffet breakkies are the way to go. This one is not Buffet, Its a great time for 1 night tho, check it out
