Nice comfortable hotel in old Sukhothai with opened bathroom. We spent 2 nights at the Tharaburi and definetly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort at a reasonable price.
Very well located for visiting the old city.
Each room with different decoration. The pink junior suite is absolutely great.
The restaurant does not offer good thai food and Bfast was OK but not great. You can find better thai food in the old city.
Peaceful Tharaburi!!

Staying at this intimate hotel was one of the highlights of our Thailand trip. From the moment we were greeted at check-in we felt at home. Our Grand Deluxe room, furnished in Chinese antique decor, was perfectly matched with the hotel's setting surrounding an artificial pond and tropical foliage. This was the ideal place to be when visiting Sukhothai.

I'm sure that the swimming pool would have been a valuable asset to the resort if it were properly maintained. But when we stayed there, the water was so green that the tiles on the bottom in the shallow end were not visible. Inexscusable.

A piece of paradise! Close to every restaurant and the entrance of the park. They propose transfer for 500 baht from the hotel to Sukhothai bus station.
- Restaurant Tip : The coffee cup serves excellent smoothies, papaya salads and thai food.

I have re-booked this hotel for the LOY KRATHONG festival.
- Travel tip : Flying to Phitsanulok (75 kms) is actually a lot cheaper than flying to Sukhothai (38 kms), and the hotel only charge an additional 200 Bht to collect from Phitsanulok than they do from Sukhothai.

Really enjoyed stay at Tharaburi and would stay there again if in Sukhothai.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Remember to ask for a bike at resort. Allow one day to cycle around the old town and view the magnificent historical sites.

I can not imagine a better place to stay in old Sukhothai.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Sukhothai Historic Park is a 5 minutes bike ride away. Don't miss a visit to the excellent National Museum's exhibition close to the historic park and the private Sakhalong museum at the main street (not the one advertised somewhere behind the market place).
And if you like Thai food there is a small restaurant close to the main gate of the historic park which offers 14 different, and tasty styles of Som Tam.
