Peaceful and close to nature

The road to the hotel is quite complicate and partly dangerous especially at night. But I love the atmosphere which is simple and natural and very relaxing. I recommend this hotel for those who are looking for a hideaway not very far from BKK.

Isolated world resort

The buildings are new, situated in isolated place where you can relax with your family. Not a good place if in case there are other guests who would drink all night long because you will hear the chatting. In general, this is a good feeling of countryside rather than a luxury hotels. Last but not least, the owners and staff are very friendly.

Peaceful stay on the river

We had a great stay here. The rooms are spacious and clean, the grounds immaculate, and the vibe very restful.
I stayed 3 nights with my two children, aged 3 and 6. After a busy week of sightseeing and lots of driving, it was great to just stay put and relax. We got there on the weekend so there were other families there, mostly from Bangkok, so the kids had friends to play with. The grounds are good for soccer, frisbee, and generally running up and down their little bunny hills. They had bicycles for the kids to ride around on. We went kayaking everyday. The many trees keep the air cool, even chilly in the morning!
One day, we went to the aquarium at Bang Chawak, it was very nice, if a little over-priced. I didn't have a car, so the owner, Shaloon, drove us and picked us up. He speaks vey good english, so that was helpful, because he was the only one. The included breakfast buffet is good, and Shaloon was very accommodating to the kids.
There are not many reasons for falangs to end up in Suphan Buri, but if you do and are looking for a quiet place in nature, this is a good bet, and worth the money.
Travel tip:
If you go to the aquarium with young kids and you don't have a stroller, they have wheelchairs you can borrow!

Nice hotel in remote area

There is no restaurant near the hotel, so you have to eat inside. The foods were salty and take nearly an hour to cook, in other words, they cooked very slow.
There is no fruits on the trees and the kayak is not practical at all.
Anyway, the hotel is locate near the river so the weather is nice. There was a lot of fog in the morning (I woke up around 6:00AM.)
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There is a local zoo near the hotel, about 20 minutes by car. There are various animals include lions, tigers, monkeys, etc.

A special place in Suphan Buri
relaxing river view, clean, clean rooms, hospitality by the owner and his family

Although the hotel is down a winding road and a little difficult to find, it is worth the effort to be right on lake Tha Chin with lush green surroundings, butterflies fluttering, fruit growing, herons perching for a most relaxing atmosphere. The owner gladly met us at a near-by gas station to help us follow the winding road. His whole family acts as gracious hosts. Dining is right on the porch on the river with fans to keep the breeze moving and the bugs away. Open for breakfast and dinner. The dinner we had was fresh and hot off the stove. The villa on the river had a back porch for relaxing and listening to the quiet noises of nature at night. No complaints, all in all a delightful experience.

A bit out of the way but well worth the effort getting there. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Probably best for weekend or long weekend. But is close to a few attractions for adults with or without children. Beautiful spot next to river. Rooms good. Owner generous to or two boys (gave water pistols and loan of bike). We also enjoyed using their canoe. Enjoyed fishing but dailed to catch anything.
Restaurant Tip:
Boue lemon for a chage to Western food at local town

Fantastic Resort, Very High Standard

a delightful, small resort. modern, well-equipped villas, located right on the river bank. a delightful terrace over looking the river for drinks and meals. the food is very high quality. the location is 10 minutes drive from the large lake and surrounding attractions. a great place to spend a few restful days. very quiet during the week, busier at weekends but always relaxed and welcoming. i highly recommend this resort.
