Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Ghetto, run by a cadaver
Not murdered in my sleep, left hotel alive, close to train station
5.7
I realize the hotel was cheap, so i shouldn't complain too much. I got what i paid for and upon check-in the cadaver/hotel clerk stared at me without any emotion, and tossed my key on the desk, then went back to whatever she was doing. i left the hotel alive and safe, so overall a decent place to stay for an early train ride.

Ugly hotel with extra small dirty rooms
Friendly staff, confitioner
4.7
It has so small rooms so I felt like claustrophobic. The bed sheets was ripped and dirty, even wall was dirty. WiFi Internet was low speed and unstable. Free breakfast... I was eating only bread and tea, all other has disgusting taste and was cold.
It look like it's cheap, but I think that it must be 50% more cheap.

The best option hotel near railway station
Cheap and near station/airport

Good hotel if you can not directly go to airport or if you waiting train. AC has working good and there is a convenient store near the hotel. In the night, you can walking about 10 minute to night market which selling cheap food.

Close to railway station at Phun Phin
2.3
Worst place we have ever stayed in anywhere! Fortunately only stayed 5 hours waiting for a train at 01.26.
Travel tip:
Unless you absolutely need a place to stay don't stay at this hotel.

Only hotel by the train station
Cheap, A/C, Convenient location, 7 Eleven and other stores close by
5.7
This hotel is convenient because it is by the train station. There is no elevator, you have to drag your bags up yourself. No hot water, toilet does not flush, you have to do it manually. Sink drains on the floor and from there on into a drain. Shower is next to toilet but there is no defined shower area and it floods the bathroom. The bedroom had A/C, the bed was hard but the hideous covers smelled freshly washed. No light next to bed. All together the hotel gets 0 stars. 1 star for the bedroom and -1 for the bathroom. But it was convenient and an adventure.

The Queen Hotel is excellent for what it is meant to be: a cheap stop over hotel while you are awaiting a ferry, bus or train. It is clean and the staff are nice.

very basic, it was very conveniant for the train as we had an 2300hr departure and arrived at 1600hrs, many places for food close by and good for a few hours sleep waiting for the train.

Good for one night only, maybe

Arrived in the middle of the night to be put into the wrong dingy room. We were moved to our 'proper' room, which entailed a creepy atmosphere and unclean space. Slept in our towels to feel less spooked and creeped out.

Conveniently situated by the train station
Open 24 hours, so good if arriving by train late
6.7
You would probably only stay at the Queen Hotel if you are going to use the train. The room really is very basic, but the price is also very cheap. The room we slept in smelt a bit damp and wasn't particularly attractive. However, we needed somewhere to sleep when our train arrived at 4am and this was fine for that. The staff were very friendly.
