This is our return visit and the staff gave us a great room overlooking the pool. The rooms are very comfortable, good air/con and TV with lots of channels. The pool is a great temp. to go swimming in as it has the sun on it to warm the water and their is plenty of deck chairs to lay down on. If you want to there is a tennis court and golf thing there you can use. The bar downstairs was well tested by my husband and enjoyed. The breakfast was very nice.

This hotel treats its guests very well. There is a great swimming pool, great bar, beautiful grounds and nice breakfast. All of this at a great price.

It is a little further away from the centre of town.

• Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You have to go for a stroll through the town market the sights and smells are amazing.

City Hotel, don't expect too much Guest Rating: 2.2

Not directly related to the hotel, but important if you plan to go from Mae Sot to Mae Sariang by car allong the Burmese border: At the time of our visit (April 2008) it was not possible to find someone willing to drive us to Mae Sariang. If you plan a similar trip please check for border conditions and travel possibilities before booking.

A bit far from town to walk but we had a hired car so we could drive everywhere, no problems

• Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you go and see the Big Tree between Mae Sot and Tak it is a very steep track down and up.
