it is very nice hotel and very good location, good location and not noicy, by the way it is very fantastic out-door restroom. hotel area and common area are keeping clean and nice. lobby area is an open air with fresh air but lots of mosquitos at the night time same as in the room. we have to aware of this.
the hotel opposit of bor kungpow, it is good restaurant fresh seafood as well as cheap.

i booked this as bit of a splurge for my birthday, the night before leaving on a trek. the vip suite is very nicely decorated in eastern decor. it was a bit odd locking the door with a pad lock. the well landscaped grounds were a marked contrast to the dusty, somewhat grimy main street. great authentic restaurant across the street.

Really nice hotel and very clean (rooms are made every day). I enjoyed the Thai style decoration, it really feels original. Beautiful and comfy beds with hard mattrasses. There are not too many different room types available, but the superior (36m2) was perfect for us.
Although this hotel doesn't have a kitchen, I was very surprised of the outstanding quality of the breakfast (vietnam egg pan :-)) which they organize for you on a scheduled time.
Really good value for the money.

we really like to stay and will back when ever we come Measot.Location is good and hotel is very comfortable for even long stay. Front of hotel have very good sea food restruant and nice to dinning.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Good room size not big and not small , vhowever Thai style or Burmese design is really nice.

Efficiency can make you feel more relax
It's not far from the border market at all. Still quite new and well run.

Counter people could be more 'Thai' in welcoming manner, like flashing some smiles or 'wai'/namaste [as in India]. They sure are efficient in getting our breakfast orders at check-in time, and as well in running the restaurant area so cleanly in the next morning! Rooms are clean and nice size--don't feel like you're being overcharged. The hotel's environment is quiet and low-key; one feels safe enough to come back again and again.
Soft suggestions: reduce the numbers of mosquitoes in the compound; do something for the parking lot in the back so that it has less dirt and dust in the air.
Restaurant Tip:
Good Thai sea foods restaurant is just across the street [walk over in the early afternoon to reserve a table].

this is a great place to stay in maesod. the decor is great and the attention to detail is outstanding. the linen is always fresh and crisp. it is conveniently placed for a short walk to eating places, markets and the central business area.
Restaurant Tip:
Around the corner from Irawadee is an excellent eating place called Casa Mia. They have both Thai and western food.
