Nice big resort with big garden area and decent pool.
The lobby/restaurant building is not new and a bit dark inside but sitting outside on the terrace is ok.
The bungalow was still in decent state, clean and with all fittings etc working.
The resort is a bit out of town however so you need your own wheels.

We were in a detached bungalow with its own car-port. The room was very large and had a fridge, TV and A/C. The furnishings were of good quality, everything was clean and comfortable. This is quite a large well maintained resort with various types of accommodation. It was very quiet, although there weren't many other people there at the time.
Own transport is advisable as the resort is about 4 km from the main road, about ten minutes drive from Mae Sot, but is well signed from Highway 11 before you reach town.
We didn't use the restaurant, so can't comment on food quality.

interesting thai resort
quirky village-style resort with nice pool

a bit out of the way, but well worth finding. little signage/spoken english but staff very accomodating. bungalows old but recently renovated. fast wifi, couple of english TV channels. proper thai cooked breakfast - not just coffee and toast.

I thought it was fine but it's not really that user friendly for English speaking guests. No signs in English. I couldn't phone to desk to make an inquiry or order food.No information about nearby sights.

just stayed one night here, but staff very accommodating and friendly. bungalow was clean and comfortable, although basic and a bit small when 2 children added! one bathroom was infested with ants however. breakfast basic. good pool and kids loved the playground. we had a hire car which made getting around much easier. slightly out of town but well sign-posted and easy to find

Peace and quiet rule the days.

frankly i think it this hotel is not described very well. for it is not even a hotel so much as it is a thai version of a british holiday camp without the bad entertainment.
the resort is quiet and surrounded by gardens and water features. the pool is lovely. the rooms are clean but the bathrooms need work. actually the whole place needs a good contractor to fix the many areas that are slowly falling apart... do not lean on any of the railings for one thing!
the regular bungalows are nice... small but nice. again the plumbing fixtures are in need of repair/replacement. but the areas are clean. there you get a sitting room and two bedrooms. but at least there is a sense of getting your moneys worth.
the other thing is that you had better have a car of your own or a friend that is willing to come and get you when you want to go into the city (mae sod). though the hotel says that it is "in mae sod"... you are about 5k from the town itself. the road is pot holed and one has to call for a taxi or tuktuk (around 100bht or so i was told). that is the chief complaint.
oh and be ready for the usual contingent of british ngo workers to show up for a game of volleyball in the pool around 4 in the afternoon. these games can be more than an hour long and can be loud.
i would stay here again. but i would make sure that i had a car... a scooter would be okay, but be ready for the 3k rough road that you have to take from the main road into mae sod (another 2k away as i said).
Hotel Feature Tip:
want only peace and quiet. it is great place for a weekend with the kids, or just to sit and read and swim.
just bring transport!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
wonderfull location and area's. You do need transport as it might not be easy to get transport from the vilage.
