I would recommend Ban Phuu for one night stay in order to eat at the restaurant and go straight to bed. Arrive at sunset, eat at their wonderful restaurant Suan Phuu and watch herons and birds stalk around the mangrove forest. Cover yourself in mosquito spray and go to bed. The resort is very Thai, meaning few luxuries. Make sure you book the newer garden view deluxe rooms as all others are old and musty.
