Midweek break
We stayed 5 nights at this resort with 4 kids ranging 4 months - 10 yrs. The family room is not very big but it just worked. The pool is nice, lots of shaded grass area and lovely beach. We had a relaxing time and the kids enjoyed themselves. Nice spacious kids club to escape the heat.

Nice and remote
Good quality resort, remote and windswept beach. The weather made it impossible to go to the island where the beach is better for swimming but the resort was relaxing enough to make up for it

Best Hotel, great service, many activities

I've spent 6 days in Trang but only 1 night at Anantara but it was the best night, ever! I felt lucky that I have chosen this place to celebrate my Birthday. Services and staff were beyond anticipated. The varieties of activities and food made us regret that we had only spend 1 night there. The only thing we found unmatched to all these positive comments were the old towels in our room. They were partially ripped off and we could no longer feel the softness of its texture.

My stay did not reach my expectation!
the room we stayed in, breakfast, Mr. Mark from our island outing!
The hotel needs some serious staff training and / or motivation to do anything at all for the 'low-season' guests. The Spa is hidden away and the value for money is far from being 'good'. I paid a lot of money for some nice Spa time but it was terrible. A Prachuab beach-side B450.- / 1.5 hours is much better! The facial was very bad. - The poolside no attendant was 'attending' at all and the guests had to get their own towels and also lay their own pool-chair. No food was actively sold so for sure your poolside P/L is very bad. The Spa should walk around the poolside and 'sell' their products and even maybe offer a massage place at the pool! - Generally...for a socalled '5-Star' hotel this hotel is still far away from it! - Mr. Punty & Mr. Mark were doing their very best...but if the staff do not do their jobs, what is the good?
