Robinsons Mall is next door, pool is fantastic and night club area one block away Udon Thani is very boring - tourist wise Hotel is excellent value, clean and friendly staff. Great position one block from the night life and right next door to the mall. Send your wife shopping while you can go and taste a little of the Thai night life. Lot of development in the area so look forward to more improvements in the area soon.
Nightlife Tip : Although a one year old kid nearly hit me with a pool ball - go to the Aussie Bar and have a beer with Justin - catch up on all the sports news - one block from the hotel

The whole hotel is fantastic Only con and that is the pool is too shallow - so if that is their only down fall then the place is going well Just an extremely well run hotel by friendly managers and staff. Room was huge, cable television, fridge etc - one block from the nightlife bars etc - you feel like a king staying there - in western world this hotel would cost you 300 plus a night. Fantastic place to stay and thoroughly recommend it
Nightlife Tip : If you are Australian - do yourself a favor and visit the Aussie Bar for a quick drink with Justin who can fill you in on whats going on and provide excellent info - one block from the hotel and five minutes or so walk

Noisy room facing main street, night club opposite. Generally ok, but every time I have booked through Agoda I have been given a room facing the main street and a nightclub which is noisy til very late at night. I sense discrimination against a person who makes an online booking.

Location, good ambience, in-house spa/massage, pool, polite staff, clean. Some bathrooms may need renovation. Excellent hotel with good ambience. BEST hotel in town having stayed there many times before. I've checkout every hotel/budget hotels etc and none beats a "luxury" one in a same rural town in Thailand. I believe it should be more than the 3-stars range since the others on the web is no where near it - either old and yucky lifts or poor restaurant. This hotel has 2 good restaurants. Has nice 4 lifts and supposably 12 floors. Good pricing too. I will recommend it to anyone staying in Udon Thani but MUST book especially weekends! Walk in price is slightly dearer but I tend to book all the time with Agoda.
Restaurant Tip : Sizzler's next door where the Cinemas are is good value for money.

Reserved in good time a non smoking room with 1 big bed.
Got a smoking room with 2 ordinary bed. Discovered (in the shower)that there were no towels.
Staff generally uninterested to help, maybe because no one spoke English.
The breakfast was nothing special. The lines for omelett and bacon were long.
This is the second try , but never again! There are more hotels in central Udon Thani

Hotel exterior needs cosmetic make-over, but great location next to the only real shopping mall in Udon Thani.
Restaurant Tip : Best value is all the freshly cooked food at the Night Market, just a few blocks away.

Better than any other hotels in Udon Thani. I have seen and stayed in some and nothing compared to it. It is said that the Princess of Thailand lives here when she visits the province.

This is an older hotel that requires some additional work to bring it up to standard. Since it's about the only option in Udon, we would certainly stay here again.

Located next door to the primary shopping mall in the city. Engish speaking staff was impossible to find I had a nice experience at this hotel. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. I used there laundry service and found it to be efficient and moderately priced.
The staff was very friendly, but communication in English was a problem. The free breakfast buffet was adequate. Plenty to choose from, but the food was only okay in quality,
The pool area and spa are very nice.

Breakfast has a good selection of Isaan food (according to my girlfriend) which is good.
Second time staying here, room better first time, even if it was a standard room only. Stayed in a junior suite second visit - not so good as room close to ground level and noisy. Also getting old. Save your money and stay in a standard room.

Was very dissatisfied with the Agoda service. Only after some interventions Agoda was sending me the hotel voucher. The same happened to me for the other hotel booking I made in the Silom Sofitel.

This hotel is reasonable value for money. The lobby area is quite attractive and the staff generally friendly and helpful. It is conveniently centrally located. I would stay here again.
