I appreciated the kindness of the staff. Free pick up from airport and transfer to hotel. Surroundings are quiet although some distant noise from the road.
Breakfast is served any time on the patio. Ordered food is good and cheap.
The only disappointments were the noisy refrigirator and very unstable internet connection.

If it had not been for the manager and staff, it would have been a nightmare. The town center is 30 minutes drive and there is not a single place you can walk to, just a dirt track to a main road and miles to civilisation. At the T junction to another main road there is a solitary restaurant then a Tesco and Big C further on.

Quiet, peaceful resort
Quiet, fishing in the lagoon.

Nice little resort surrounding a lagoon. We booked a one night stay in a lagoon view bungalow which was right on the lagoon. Quite comfortable but no coffee/tea making facility. Each of these rooms has a car port from which you can fish. Fishing equipment available from office for 150B including bait. No restaurant, meals need to be ordered at the office and delivered to your room. Breakfast has to be ordered the night before and is also delivered to your room. Facilities provided also include a nice sized swimming pool at one end of the lagoon.
Travel tip:
Arrange for resort staff to pick you up. We arrived in Udon Thani by bus from Loei and asked Tuk Tuk drivers at the bus station to take us to the resort. Local Tuk Tuk drivers had no idea where this resort was. Make sure you have the name and address of the resort written in Thai.
