I stayed in the basic rooms,though far from basic,they are large,airy and very clean.Large windows look out into the tropical gardens.The whole mini resort is spotless and very well cared for.Its about 10-15 mins out of the city,transport can be arranged and motorcycles are available to hire.

A little paradise with nice swimming pool and cordial staff. Felt like home there.
Shopping Tip:
The Central Plaza shopping centre, located right down-town is a fun place to visit and dine.

Excellent Guesthouse just out of Town

I have stayed here for some time now....i think this was my 6th visit.....and I will return.Immaculately maintained, this German-owned Establishment offers an easy Thai/Euro style of service.
Situated conveniently on the out-skirts of town; it is just off the southern end of Posri Rd with good Tuk Tuk/Public Transport to town, Night Market and rail station. Beautifully presented Gardens, pool-side and indoor/outdoor dining and bar, with a good Thai and European All Day Menu.
Nightlife Tip:
The Night Market is a great place to wander.....less tourist focus than many of the resort towns, and a great place to eat.

like pointed out on the many other positive reviews, a nicely maintained place with interesting design accents and abundant foliage delivering a garden like environment -- heavy on the tropical foliage. nice little pool deck, good food poolside. if you like european beers, this is your place. room was nicely equipped. not real close to airport and taxis are limited. arrange in advance.

Reserve your taxi for airport the day before.

Great Hotel in beautiful gardens
Garden setting was excellent and rooms very good.

The hotel was very good and is aimed at the German tourist or ex pat.
Amenities and restaurant were very good andthe gardeb setting made for a relaxing atmosphere.
The only down side was the somewhat remote location, requiring a taxi or own vehicle to access the city and airport.
Taxi to airport was advertised at reception.

Thomas Udon Thai house is nice clean, bright & quite. Very good internet connection. The only problem is the slightest movement in the bed made a noise it was so creeky. But in all it was a nice stay there is a small swimming pool & gardens well maintained, It was also nice to see and hear the Mynah birds and Parrots talking. The food is also good there.
