not great, nice massages
The good thing was their spa- which gave great massages at a really good price.

The restaurant in the hotel is awful but there is literally no where else in the area to eat so we didnt have much choice! There is not much to do in the area so we ended up getting a massage from the hotel spa - that was the one thing that was really really good. The spa staff were extremely friendly and so good at what they did...i had a hot stone massage and my boyfriend a shiatsu massage which ended up being less than 300000d for the both of us!
The room was large and clean but the air con was really noisy and we ended up just turning it off in the night and sweating instead because it was so loud. There was also a siren that went of first thing in the morning and in the day and evening - im not sure what it was or where it was coming from - not the hotel i dont think but it sounded like a siren warning you of a air raid attack in the war or something- not appreciated at 6am.
Overall, the hotel is good value for the cheap rates that they offer and the good spa that is available. I suggest giving the whole area a miss though.

Very enjoyable. Hotel is excellent value for money. Staff were efficient and friendly. Room was extremely comfortable. Great night sleep. The view was an added bonus. I would stay here again.

I have visited Ben tre for the past 4 years and this is the best hotel I ever stay !!! Very new and clean like a 4 star hotel located at Ben tre ! The breakfast wasn't that good but what can I complaint for the price I paid ! I wanted to book a delux room but not available anymore . The superior room is spacious as well but definitely gonna book the delux room for my next year visit !! Well done viet uc and agora ! See u again next Chinese New Year !!

i have stayed in many budget hotels and the price of this hotel exceeds the standards of budget vietnamese hotels. very clean and moreso like a 4 star hotel in australia.
breakfast buffet is excellent value, however, the feel of the hotel lacks a certain ambience.
i had an unpleasant experience where the staff could not speak english and booked a bus for me to get to ho chi minh city. they informed me the bus would take me to district 1 for the price however upon arrival at the bus terminal in district 5, was told i needed to pay more money to get to district 1 and they just passed the blame onto the bus company.

Brand new hotel in great location

We have just spent one night at the Viet Uc hotel and found it very pleasant. We were upgraded to a suite and loved the views.
The most important thing to stress is the eager friendliness of the staff on the front desk, in the bar and in the restaurant. From information on bus timetables for travel further into the Delta, through producing a pen when the waiter noticed we needed to mark something in our travel guide to another waiter offering to heat up the coffee if we didn't find it hot enough. There was also the waitress keen to improve her English and taking her serving duties so seriously and the door man who gave much helpful information.
Our room was bright, fresh, spacious and comfortable and, being on a high floor overlooking the river, we had wonderful views of the river craft and the coconut plantation beyond. There are no English language news programmes on the television, but we have found that elsewhere in the Delta, even in a city with far more foreign tourists. The wifi only works in the public areas on the ground floor and, even there, it was a bit sporadic.
We had a good dinner in the restaurant, squid, steamed with ginger, and prawns deep fried in coconut batter were the highlights, together with a reasonable bottle of Dalat wine. Breakfast was a little short on fresh fruits, juice or fresh bread, but the Vietnamese offerings were varied and there were good omelettes
The hotel is right beside the main market, which is well worth a visit.

Small boats just outside for a Mekong ride. Apart of that, nothing to do in Ben Tre. Very good hotell but staff very poor english. Good for one night stay

Great customer service, Staff very friendly and helpful, Laundry good prices very fair

Suite was nice and roomy, Housekeep were very good and eager to always help and go that little bit extra to make sure we were enjoying our stay.
The buffet breakfast was nice, but limited range of dishes and always the same ones.
