Delightful hotel with charm & comfort

we liked this place, it's walking distance from pretty much everything in d1, had great breakfasts (with an excellent view), super-comfortable bed, good service and a nice older-style pool. our room - colonial balcony - was very spacious with a small balcony overlooking the river & street below. although the road is busy, it didn't bother us in the slightest. the bathroom was lovely with a nice strong shower. overall, our only complaint is that wifi through the hotel is very weak, and you had to pay for internet connection on the computers in business centre - which is a negative in vietnam where free wifi and/or computer is common. we usually ended up walking out of the hotel onto the side street to check our mail. apart from that, i recommend staying in this lovely old hotel soon, before it falls victim to vietnam's taste for all things new.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Sunlounges near the pool are in short supply, so if it's looking to be a nice day, make sure you don't get there too late! A nice spot to cool off after a day's sightseeing.

Très bon service (guide excellent)avec de nombreuses excursions et de bon repas. Le bateau possède beaucoup de charme mais le prix à payer pour est des chambres et un peu étroites et petites (difficile de caser deux valises dans si peu de m2). En revanche système de réservation très mal au point entre la compagnie et le site agoda...
