Quirky but nice
Peaceful spot and the lady at the front desk was fun.

In a residential neiborhood or as close to that you can find in most Vietnamese cities. So the location is very quiet but only a couple blocks from a main street. Hard to explain what the place looks like though it's clean and well tended and the front desk lady is fun. Not sure how many rooms they have but it seemed like I was the only guest. For example they turned off the lobby lights when I left and when I returned they were off but as soon as they heard me they clicked them on. Large bathroom with a round tub and combi shower. Bed didn't look to comfy but I sure slept great. Down side it that it's ways to the water front(Ninh Kieu Quay)where the boats for hire are
Travel tip:
Small boats for hire at the Quay with a negotiable price for the 3 hour to the closest floating market or 7 hours to hit both of them. The boat lady I used was Huang, youngish, cute and nice. The biggie here is the Mekong and the floating markets.

Super Friendly, Helpful, and Clean

Loved this place. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot with good pressure, wifi connection was strong, mini fridge was stocked, and the women at the desk were very helpful. It isn't right in the main downtown bit, so you need to motorbike to the waterfront, but if you are looking for a quiet place to veg out, this is it.

both staff & management made me feel comfortable and welcome from the moment i arrived until the time i left.
they were very responsive when needed, & their knowledge of local transport and sites helped ensure i optimised my time in can tho, on the budget i had.
management spoke good english.
for me it was without doubt the best value hotel in vietnam.
